Do you want to surround yourself with like-minded traders and get inspired with plenty of new trading tips, techniques, and knowledge?

If so, you’ve gotta attend the upcoming Trader & Investor Summit in Orlando.

This is the fifth Trader & Investor Summit, and it promises to be the best one yet…

… and for a limited time, tickets are available at an exclusive early-bird price.

With a cap of 500 attendees, this event will likely sell out, so don’t miss your chance to nab tickets at an incredible price! I’ll tell you more about that in a bit…

But first, if you’re not familiar with the Trader & Investor Summit, here’s everything you need to know…

What Is the Trader & Investor Summit?

The Trader & Investor Summit dates back to 2015 when I wrangled together some of the most inspiring traders I knew and created an event.

The idea was that by putting these masters in one place, I could help create an amazing educational event that could help traders of all levels gain expertise and find inspiration.

It was an incredible success. These master traders shared their stories, techniques, and strategies, and offered plenty of wisdom to attendees.

There was no looking back after that event. We’ve held an event every year since. And this year, on September 20–23, we’re hosting the fifth annual Trader & Investor Summit at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Orlando, Florida.

The capacity is 500 people and we’ve sold out quickly every year.

How Does It Work?

The Trader & Investor Summit is kind of like a trading-school boot camp. You show up and attend talks and workshops and learn actionable strategies and techniques from some of the greatest traders and teachers out there.

You can not only learn their trading methods but also their personal stories, including what they did right or wrong, and what they’ve learned along the way.

But unlike some other educational events, you’re not paying thousands upon thousands of dollars to attend.

You don’t have to have a specific level of experience to attend the event. In fact, many new traders have found that the event helped them take the next step toward really getting serious about their trading.

And established traders come to the Trader & Investor Summit to expand their knowledge and get a trading tune-up.

It’s a chance for traders of all levels to learn new tricks of the trade. By learning from the best, you can advance your trading, learn little-known strategies, and gain valuable intel on today’s hottest sectors … and countless other practical tactics.

Are You Ready to Connect With Like-Minded Traders?

No doubt, trading can be a very solitary profession. Even if you love the process of creating trading plans and that rush when your ideal setup pops up on a stock’s chart, you’ll still log tons of hours alone with your laptop.

My Trading Challenge provides a great online network and support group that’s helped new traders forge valuable connections.

But there’s something really special about connecting in person. It’s amazing to connect with others who are just as passionate about trading as you. And it can be incredibly inspiring to see what others are doing.

Why Attend the Trader & Investor Summit?

Consider what you can gain by attending the Trader & Investor Summit…

Trading strategies: Speakers really get into the nitty-gritty about their specific strategies and how they use them to grow their own trading accounts.

Get an up-close and personal look at what, how, and why they trade the way they do. These are real traders and successful ones at that … not so-called ‘pros’ who barely crack open a laptop. These are all traders who’ve worked hard. This is a great opportunity to learn from them.

A trading network: Ever try to talk trading with people who don’t trade? Notice how their eyes glaze over at the mere mention of stock charts? OK, now imagine having 500 people from all over the world in one place who are totally psyched to talk stocks. That’s the Trader & Investor Summit!

The attendees range from newbies who are still learning what a candlestick chart is to successful traders running seven-figure accounts. Within that mix, there are opportunities to forge countless new relationships, from business partnerships to friendships to mentorships and more.

Focus on trading: It can be hard to make time for trading sometimes. When you attend the Trader & Investor Summit, it’s a perfect chance to dive fully into trading and completely immerse yourself. It’s the perfect chance to advance your education in a focused, targeted way.

The available research on day trading suggests that most active traders lose money. Fees and overtrading are major contributors to these losses.

A 2000 study called “Trading is Hazardous to Your Wealth: The Common Stock Investment Performance of Individual Investors” evaluated 66,465 U.S. households that held stocks from 1991 to 1996. The households that traded most averaged an 11.4% annual return during a period where the overall market gained 17.9%. These lower returns were attributed to overconfidence.

A 2014 paper (revised 2019) titled “Learning Fast or Slow?” analyzed the complete transaction history of the Taiwan Stock Exchange between 1992 and 2006. It looked at the ongoing performance of day traders in this sample, and found that 97% of day traders can expect to lose money from trading, and more than 90% of all day trading volume can be traced to investors who predictably lose money. Additionally, it tied the behavior of gamblers and drivers who get more speeding tickets to overtrading, and cited studies showing that legalized gambling has an inverse effect on trading volume.

A 2019 research study (revised 2020) called “Day Trading for a Living?” observed 19,646 Brazilian futures contract traders who started day trading from 2013 to 2015, and recorded two years of their trading activity. The study authors found that 97% of traders with more than 300 days actively trading lost money, and only 1.1% earned more than the Brazilian minimum wage ($16 USD per day). They hypothesized that the greater returns shown in previous studies did not differentiate between frequent day traders and those who traded rarely, and that more frequent trading activity decreases the chance of profitability.

These studies show the wide variance of the available data on day trading profitability. One thing that seems clear from the research is that most day traders lose money .
