Lock in Gains on Fast Spikers

The madness continues with Supernovas galore!

The volatility is BACK this week (and I LOVE it).

Actually, I love it more than that (WAY more).

I’ve been going live all week long to share the details about my new after-hours tool.

It’s CRAZY how many wins we’ve already racked up.

But there’s one thing everyone trading penny stocks and small caps REALLY needs to be aware of right now.

These plays can…

Spike a Ton But Fade Fast

Some of the moves we’re witnessing are insane.

Understand that with the volatility back, these stocks can go MUCH further and faster than short sellers (or newbies) ever imagine.

But with that incredible upside comes a downside, too.

Check out these crazy charts starting with…

FTFT Fast Spikes and Fades Alike

Future FinTech Group Inc. (NASDAQ: FTFT) is a big multi-day runner this week. But notice how fast the spikes (and fades) happen…

FTFT, 9/11-17/26, 5-min candles, lock in gains on fast spikers
FTFT, 9/11-17/26, 5-min candles, lock in gains on fast spikers

Those huge spikes happened in a matter of minutes. And it also only took a matter of minutes for FTFT to give up most of the gains.

Here’s another example. Hang on because you might need…

MEDS For the Way Up AND Down

On Tuesday (Sept. 15) DataMEDS AI, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEDS) was a one-day Supernova.

But that was nothing compared to what it did on Wednesday…

MEDS, 9/15-17/26, 5-min candles, fast spikes and fast fades
MEDS, 9/15-17/26, 5-min candles, fast spikes and fast fades

Again, look at how fast the fades happened after the spikes.

You MUST lock in gains on these fast spikers (especially right now as seasonal volume comes back and volatility increases).

The next chart might be the most intense fast spiker we’ve seen all week…

RETO Runs: 30 Cents to 20 Dollars to 20 Cents

On Tuesday, ReTo Eco-Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: RETO) was halt city as it ran from $0.30 to the high $3s. Then, in a few minutes after-hours it ran another +180%.

But just like FTFT and MEDS, RETO wasn’t done…

RETO, 9/15-17/26, 5-min candles, fast Supernova, fast fade
RETO, 9/15-17/26, 5-min candles, fast Supernova, fast fade

RETO got all the way to the $20 on Wednesday before it cracked. By yesterday it was back to $0.20 per share.

Are you starting to see the pattern yet?

This week has been one of the best weeks in MONTHS for traders.

Especially considering how slow and choppy the last two weeks have been.

I don’t know if we’ll keep seeing Supernovas like these, but make this your mantra anyway…

“I will lock in gains on fast spikers.”

Plays like this are a GREAT way to grow a small account fast.

But they’re also an easy way to get CRUSHED if you are not meticulous.

Do NOT get greedy with these super-fast Supernovas.

Here’s another example: on Wednesday (Sept. 17), CID HoldCo, Inc. (NASDAQ: DAIC) was…

Another Huge Win For My New Overdrive Tool

Overdrive members traded DAIC and were super happy after-hours. But check out what happened right after the open yesterday…

DAIC, 9/16-17/26, 5-min candles, after-hours winner, fast spike and fast fade
DAIC, 9/16-17/26, 5-min candles, after-hours winner, fast spike and fast fade

It’s BEAUTIFUL to see dumb short sellers get squeezed like that, right? And I want you to take advantage and capitalize

But when a stock goes full Supernova in a few minutes, you MUST lock in gains (FAST).

Faster than you think, because…

once the panic buying short sellers fully cover…

… and once the momentum buyers lock in gains…

There’s only ONE direction left (and it isn’t fun if you just bought the top).

Realize that it’s not an exact science. Your goal is to…

Be There When the Upside Move Is Massive

Guess what?

The BEST way I know for you to be there when the moves are happening is by using my new tool.

I don’t know if you’ve made it to one of my live events this week. And I’m not sure when I’m going live again.

But I’ve got good news…

Watch the 15-Minute Millionaire Summit Replay Now

My team and I are figuring out more times to go live because this new strategy is my #1 focus and best strategy I’ve seen in years.

So, whether you link to a live presentation or a replay depends on when you click that link right now.

Remember to bring a notebook and take notes.

Key Takeaway

Long story short…

Focus on Supernovasas and realize that the volatility is BACK!

But with the added volatility and volume, these things go fast.

Sometimes so fast that it’s a little scary.

But think of it this way…

It’s WAY more scary for shorts.

Maybe we should send them an edible basket to say thanks for their sacrifice?

Cheers,

– Tim Sykes

The available research on day trading suggests that most active traders lose money. Fees and overtrading are major contributors to these losses.

A 2000 study called “Trading is Hazardous to Your Wealth: The Common Stock Investment Performance of Individual Investors” evaluated 66,465 U.S. households that held stocks from 1991 to 1996. The households that traded most averaged an 11.4% annual return during a period where the overall market gained 17.9%. These lower returns were attributed to overconfidence.

A 2014 paper (revised 2019) titled “Learning Fast or Slow?” analyzed the complete transaction history of the Taiwan Stock Exchange between 1992 and 2006. It looked at the ongoing performance of day traders in this sample, and found that 97% of day traders can expect to lose money from trading, and more than 90% of all day trading volume can be traced to investors who predictably lose money. Additionally, it tied the behavior of gamblers and drivers who get more speeding tickets to overtrading, and cited studies showing that legalized gambling has an inverse effect on trading volume.

A 2019 research study (revised 2020) called “Day Trading for a Living?” observed 19,646 Brazilian futures contract traders who started day trading from 2013 to 2015, and recorded two years of their trading activity. The study authors found that 97% of traders with more than 300 days actively trading lost money, and only 1.1% earned more than the Brazilian minimum wage ($16 USD per day). They hypothesized that the greater returns shown in previous studies did not differentiate between frequent day traders and those who traded rarely, and that more frequent trading activity decreases the chance of profitability.

These studies show the wide variance of the available data on day trading profitability. One thing that seems clear from the research is that most day traders lose money .
