These are the days when my quick trading strategy really gets ahead and why even with my severely flawed trading, I’m still better off than long-term investors, all of who are losing their shirts today. Gotta stay conservative, me thinks there’s a ton of downside.

Wow, what a day. The good news is my latest AOL article on Apple seems to piss a few people off! The bad news: just when you think you’re ready to start rocking, the losses come knocking. All you can do is try your best to control them and write about it on your blog because nobody else has the guts to.
BIDU Unpredictable Event Makes It Too Scary To Buy…For Now
In my latest AOL video , you’ll hear me recommend (Nasdaq: BIDU) as a good buy. It’s the Chinese Google and with a $10 billion marketcap, it’s valued highly, but since its growing like gangbusters and profits have been strong, I still thought it could go higher, especially if Facebook can be valued at $15 billion.
But, today, the company announced their CFO has died in an accident. While this is very sad, traders must look to what this means for the stock. Luckily, my AOL video came out after the market close, so there’s still time for me to take back my recommendation. Which I’m doing right now. This stock is already so volatile, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it tank $50 or more Monday. Even if it bounces (as I anticipate many people saying that kind of a move is an overreaction), it’s still a perfect double top in the $420-$430 range (which I previously expected it to break through, becoming a nice breakout play).
Overtrading Is Bad, Smart Trading Is Good

Shorted 1,000 CBAK @ 5.64, Covered @5.40 ($220 Gain)
Shorted 200 CSUN @17.22, Sole Overnight Holding ($40ish Gain So Far)
Today I traded quite a bit, but they were all good trades. Good trading vs. bad trading, it makes all the difference in the world. Yesterday was bad and I lost $, today was good and I won $. It was good to cover (NYSE:NG) right at the open because it showed strength, so I was obviously wrong. Even though it faded nicely in the afternoon and as it turns out, I covered near the day’s highs, I cut my losses quickly and moved on. TIM Lesson: Make your price predictions, if you’re wrong, cut your losses quickly, don’t pout or double up, just move on.
