Zagg Inc. (ZAGG) began trading on the NASDAQ and never had a shot to go up, tanking 7% on the day….buy on the rumor, sell on the news proved true…I’ve already talked about this company’s shady past, it could squeeze like other shady companies like PRXI once did, but the price action isn’t great. Earnings are on Friday, watch closely.
eOn Communications Corporation (EONC) I covered all 13,000 shares that I had from the night before near the market open at around $2.70 when I saw lots of buyers in the $2.60s…massive $9,000 gain on that trade, my apologies to Covestor auto-traders who couldn’t replicate this trade due to its small marketcap…welcome to my strategy…it bounced around a bit, but late day the stock proved it couldn’t go green so I re-shorted 4,000 shares at $2.80, just a small speculative trade with the goal of covering into a morning tomorrow (see the pattern yet). Even though its down a lot from its highs, as I proved last night, the earnings runup was all on accounting tricks, aka smoke, so I still expect this to drop back to the low $2s over the next few days/weeks, congrats to the dozens of TIMalert subscribers who banked on this…pattern was straight out of my PennyStocking Part Deux DVD

Vonage Holdings Corp. (VG) spiked to the all too familiar $1.40 this morning but faded the rest of the day, I like this action, testing former support….this is gonna be a potential short, especially if the overall market ever stops its hot streak.
Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (OPTT) dropped 5% on the day to just under $9…pathetic that this stock can’t hold its gains, but then again, it couldn’t really tank either…no play for me here, just watching, gotta see where the trend comes into play over the next few days…I would love to buy it if it can hold, but it has to prove its self through gradually rising first.
Universal Power Group, Inc. (UPG) had a nice EONC-like earnings news spike from $2.50 to $3.75 within the first 2 hours today, but faded the rest of the day to $2.75…earnings were decent and form what I can see there weren’t any accounting tricks like EONC…it’s already dropped a ton, so no play for me here.
Global Health Ventures Inc. (GHLV) is a pump & dump nearing its recent pump highs…after a “healthy” consolidation (whatever that means when the stock is being manipulated), this could keep going, all depends on how much is paid to promoters to send out emails…I cannot predict that so I will look to short if and when it really spikes, ALFSS, potential short.
