You know I’ve written a ton about this company, nicely overviewed in The Official Penny Stock Manipulation Blog Post, and how I made 35% on my one trade on sketchy Spongetech, but the below video caught my eye…

I don’t care how good sales are, forgetting for a second forged lawyer letters and accounting issues, anytime you sell through gimmicky tactics like those detailed below, your product has little to no future a few years out.

With my instructional DVD packages, I’m new to the marketing game, but after 2 years and $1+ million in sales, I can tell you I’m ALWAYS thinking about how what I do today will affect sales a decade from now. Spongetech is not:

While the accounting issues - ala the missing 10k, and pending lawsuits are legitimate causes for concern amongst SPNG investors, I fail to see how typical "As Seen on TV" marketing and store placement are indicative of problems. On the contrary, one of the strengths of the SPNG product line is it's simple premise - A sponge with soap embedded in it. Customer satisfaction is high because the products deliver what they promise. Large retail outlets like Walgreens & Target love products like this, especially, for the low price point and low chance of returns.

I think my statements above really illustrate the conundrum for SPNG fans. There's no doubt that this is a hot product and clearly, the advertising blitz has made SPNG a household name (for sports fans, anyway). If any harping needs to be done, it should be directed at the unacceptable lack of communication from the execs, and the highly questionable accounting practices.

    Timothy Sykes,

You are one sorry Human Being, are you even human ?

you suck and if i ever meet you face to face im going to spit in your face because you deserve it.

all of your posts about SPNG are full of lies.

hope you have a heart attack soon.
  • nope, time to learn how penny stocks work carlos...its 100% your fault for not doing research...ignorance is no excuse, the ignorant lose money, the wise profit, guess which group u fall in?
  • Phillyfanforlife
    Not doing research????

You claimed SPNG sued themselves without even researching to find the actual legal document!!!

    Let me guess, it's fake.

Gee, I wonder why you're a FAILED hedge fund manager, lol

I know for a fact that OTHER companies made hundreds of millions using cheesy commercials and infomercials, why not Spongetech? Creating sales projections based on the fact that the commercials are "gimmicky" is laughable.

P.S. Don't brag about your 35% gain, I am long on this stock and am up 300% so far and it is only at 0.06.

Have you actually bought one of these products? I owe the product as well as the stock and let me tell you the product does indeed work as advertised and cuts the wash time down by about 2/3.
  • The sponges are irrelevent, penny stocks are priced based on skeletons in the closet...read my book and u'd realize this

Wow! I am amazed at how stupid people are when it comes to investing. I do not subscribe to Sykes' stuff, but he is pretty real and he knows his stuff. So he is arrogant and brash. Big deal. So am I and I am successful in business also. If you go against SYkes, you are losing money.

In addition to that Timmy. Washing a Car is Hard Work. Looks fun on the TV, but once a person washes the Car and it does NOT at all match up to a Carwash they never use the product and most importantly NEVER buy the product again. SPNG is a joke. The Company comes out with a press release about some partnership with an NBA team but JUST hides its head in the sand about being delisted an under SEC Investigation for Securities Fraud for filing FAKE financials. Do any of these Pinkies know that the Stock is trading on the Grey market? they think it is actually trading on the Pinks. Anyway keep up the Good work and the entertaining blogs. BTW your very handsome in a Gayporn sorta way.

    Forged lawyer documents...lol...

You do realize your stupid ass claimed they were suing themselves, and then the actual lawsuit document surfaced online showing that they were suing ANOTHER company using the name Spongetech Inc? Are you claiming THAT document was forged?

    You know, THIS one: http://www.scribd.com/doc/20634250/Sponge-Tech-...

How easy is it for someone like you who makes money bashing a stock, to say that 'X' is fake?

I haven't seen you respond to that yet. You claim SPNG sued themselves 5 seconds after that friggin PR came out, and you didn't even do the due diligence it would take to find that lawsuit document. You made yourself look like a RETARD, Sykes. How does that make you feel?

    A RETARD!
