Over the weekend, I held a seminar in Vegas and got a few TIMalert subscribers on video…you can see all those videos HERE, and while you’ll hear about some very impressive gains, understand the average TIMalert subscriber has earned $1,812 in 2009 (this was calculated based on feedback from approximately 600 subscribers out of 1,500….not bad for a $50/month subscription newsletter)

But below are some recent emails I’ve received….I get these awesome comments/feedback all the time, it’s time I focus on sharing them with all of you to better help you guys how to take advantage of being a TIMalerts subscriber and see how others are making their $…the cool thing is people are actually using my watchlists and trade alerts to LEARN to trade for themselves, not just take picks like lemming-like CNBC viewers:

That last trade on Joe’s Jeans Inc. (JOEZ) just sent my account over the 200% profit mark since joining TIMalerts 1.5 years ago. I am currently up 50% on the year and 12% on the month. My total net profit is now $15,407! I have made all of these gains while trading part-time under the PDT rule. So even with the odds stacked against you, this just goes to show that over time Tim’s strategy really can work for those with small trading accounts. All of my trades have been validated through covestor here

Welcome to TIMalerts, Adonai (a little Hebrew, eh?).

I personally think the top advantage of being a TimAlerts member lies in utilizing Tim’s methods and watchlist as a springboard for your own trades. Although it’s nice to key off his alerts (many which work out well beyond the initial bump), my best plays have been doing what you did with China Finance, Inc. (CHFI) (which broke down perfectly the past few days) — playing other Penny Stocks using Tim’s tactics, discipline, and patience.

You’ll also have to find what kind of plays suit you best. Some only like longs. Some like scalping. Some like to wait for Tim’s sell alert and short. Personally, I mostly like shorting truly horrendous companies and am usually willing to take more pain than most if I’m 95% convinced of their impending doom. Extreme example: I actually shorted several thousand shares of Orleans Homebuilders (OHB) a couple months back at 3.12, let it ride to to $8.50 on a squeeze, peed myself, and waited until it rolled all the way back down to 2.70ish for a couple grand profit (although some may call this trade just plain stupid :-). So anyways, just figure out what style works for you.

Nice on CHFI — nothing like paying for several months of TIMalerts on an early trade…

tim,
i’m a new subscriber and know your crazy busy this weekend in vegas, but i have to tell ya if there is such a thing as having a “stock trader fan” i’m it. let me say this right off the bat cause you problably aren’t going to read the whole thing - i think your brilliant you make this so much fun and it’s sooo transparent. and that’s incredible to me. i’m really new at this game i started in march of this year and i deposited around 2000 into my brokerage account. i made some money off of Ford Motor Company (F) and lost some money off of American International Group, Inc. (AIG)… since then i’ve learned some about the market, but since i’ve joined your site it’s incredible how much i’ve learned, this market isn’t a huge seething scary beast- it’s transparent and it’s only that way because your are opening my eyes to these obvious ways of trading. i can’t wait to buy your dvd packages, gotta make some more money first. i sadly haven’t been brave enough to trade your picks these past 2 weeks but as we both know i’m kickin myself in the pants for not following your footsteps. thank you for sharing your ideas with ignorant joes like me. your awesome and i’m glad to be a prodigy of the transparent tim sykes. oh and those idiots that call you a front runner - they can suck on your wad of cash! ha where’s THEIR account on Covestor? ok ok i’m done for now.

bought EPIX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (EPIX) @ .136 sold @ 12 something 80 dollar loss.
bought MEDICAL MARIJUANA IN (MJNA) @.28 + 118 @ close holding till open tomorrow.
