Shorted 1000 shs OPTT @ 7.82, had a white knuckle ride through the short squeeze and then covered @ 7.22 for a $600 gain in about 20 minutes. Left some $ on the table but it was a decent trade. Thanks Timmy.

EMERGENT HEALTH CORP (EMGE), as expected reopened after its SEC halt under $1/share, down 60%+ on the day…some TIMalert subscribers were still short, God bless their patient souls…when will these carcasses of companies realize you can’t pay stock promoters and issue overly aggressive PRs and get away with it? Hopefully never, this one was easy to buy and short for gains…see the list below and realize we have another of these gimmes, just gotta find shares to short

Ocean Power Tech., Inc. (OPTT) I called ridiculously perfectly, but like a little cowardly value investor, I didn’t pull the trigger…very sad as I coulda woulda shoulda nailed it for $2/share to the downside after considering shorting it and having my order all setup and my alert ready to send out…then again, I’m proud of missing it because if it didn’t fade yesterday into the market close, odds woulda been high at a gap up…as it is, several TIMalert subscribers who frequent TIMalerts.com far too often, saw my 3pm post considering the short and they banked…now that the stock has retraced all the way from the high $8s to the high $6s, the easy money has been made…sometimes your first instinct is dead on…but only if you’ve been trading for a decade, I’m not talking about you newbie’s!
LJ International, Inc. (JADE) and Euro Tech Hldgs. Co. Ltd. (CLWT) are 2 tiny Asian companies that have been around for years, neither can stay very long in the mid single digits, they ALWAYS fall back…do any research and you’ll both businesses stink and they each have tons of bitter longterm shareholders who bought into the hype long ago, despite being in the right place at the right time…both are shorts on any spikes, CLWT was good this time around, JADE will be soon too, potential shorts.
Imaging3, Inc. (IMGG) and Nutra Pharma Corp. (NPHC) are starting to diverge because IMGG’s product still has potential, and some shorts are getting their shares called back, while NPHC basically refuted their earlier PR about their cobra venom pain reliever being in stores—instead it’s only available, good luck with that! This from a copany’s whose CEO has been rebuked by the FTC in the past…stock keeps fading nicely, I’d love one last spike to short into, c’mon Rik (NPHC sketchy CEO), I’d love for you to announce the amazing ability of cobra venom to not only reduce pain, but also turn ordinary objects into pure gold after just one week…now that’d get your stock over $1/share…hahaha, scumbag.
