How To Make $8,700 On One Stock Trade

Several weeks ago I wrote about why I bought Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group Inc. (RODM) at $4.65 and why I thought it’d keep getting stronger….and TIMalert subscribers earned over $35,000 in trading profits that time around…
Yesterday mid-day I sent TIMalert subscribers:
Bought 4000 RODM at $5.65…this stock finally made a new high this morning in the $5.80s, third time its tried, due to the overall strong market and the fact in this environment these guys bank because dozens of crappy Penny Stocks are able to get financing done because their stocks are surging…RODM will probly have a huuuuuge quarter when they announce in a few weeks….200,000ish shares are short and they’ll likely be squeezed if this can breakout past $6…$7 or $8 is even possible, just like the CBOU breakout, but I’ll play it safe and look to get out if I make $1/share….if it cant breakout of the $5.80s today or tomorrow, I’ll probly sell, whether i have a small loss or gain because this stock has been known to have fakeout breakouts a few times before.
The stock did spike, but it occurred faster (makes me uncofmrtable to hold large gains overnight, why risk it?) than I wanted so I sold just before the market close at $6.09 for a $1700ish profit…putting me up 87% in 2009 and 542% over the past 2 years, solidifying my position as the #1 ranked trader out of 30,000 traders on Covestor.com…all trades are detailed for your learning pleasure
No matter, the stock continued onward and upward today to my original goal of $6.50ish…and TIMalert subscribers made approximately $7,000:
+$1920 on RODM in $5.724 out at $5.835 on 17,300 shares.
