A few months back, I took a reader survey and got some very interesting answers. Over the next few days, I’ll be reporting the findings because I think they’ll help you guys better understand this market niche and its players…and it will make you understand that my instructional study guides are not optional, they’re required. (My real-time trading alerts TIMalerts premium newsletter will help you learn too, but it’s only optional :)

Because the more you know and the more comfortable you are with historical patterns & examples, the better prepared you’ll be to profit from future opportunities!

You might’ve read the first Q&A HERE, here’s the second question:

2. Describe the ideal lifestyle that successful trading will allow you to live

And here’s 760 responses (as many as Wordpress will allow without messing up my blog!):

progress
To go, talk anywhere, everywhere with confidence
Financially independence
Successful, Lavish, Luxurious…Ideally on a yacht in the mediterranean.
time freedom
anything I choose
maintaining the beach style I already live
for me it’s being my own boss
Work from home.
freedom to travel and do things I’d like to do
not tied to a desk for 80 hours a week
Big house, lots of cars, lots of holidays and a distinctly disgraceful amount of surplas money
invest not more than 20% of your total investment in one share
work when i will
I would like to have more time away from the cubicle world I’ve been accustomed to.
Earn income from day trading at home. Be able to “not work” aka not trade on days I feel like taking off to do other things. Afford to travel, etc.
Be able to help some very desperate/poor people around the world
trading and partying
Having enough money to own a home and support a family.
I already live it. But I’d like more money to pay my lawyers
traveling more, giving more away
one day maybe sell out of my business

Realistically, Debt free, and a slightly better lifestyle. Ideally, hookers and blow for everyone!
Freedom to pursue my own interests and make use of my creativity and abilities.
I look at trading like an extra 20% bonus on my salary each year which allows me to take nicer vacations and drive nicer cars. Ideally I wish I could do it full time and forget about work but I don’t have enough capital to fully support my life through capital gains.

Larger pool of capital to speculate with, mobility & financial freedom
Ability to work when I want from wherever I want
Fund my kids education, give my family a better and help as many people as possible.
I do the trading for two lifestyle reasons. 1. My personal interest in if the market will move the way I predict, the game of it? I guess is how I would say, was the decision smart enough to not risk it all and still earn. The constant learning as well is fun and keeps me interested. 2nd reason and probably the most important is the lifestyle to teach my kids and wife how to do this so that they can build a life free of debt and have a stream of income that they can build themselves.
Autonomous, financial independence.
cash for the kids as they grow up
freedom to do what I please
One where I don’t live paycheck to paycheck.

I agree with all the above, I can do the same w/o the trading aspect. I do love the answers except this one, "I want to live like a teenage black rapper."

    so crazy and immature
  • I can do the same w/o trading full time. I love the comments except for this one "I want to live like a teenage black rapper" sooo funny
