TIM trading account—now stands at $63,318, no trades/positions on Friday…I’m now up $5,500ish in June, my account is now up 50% in 2009 and up 410% in the last 20 months, up from my original $12,415 November 1, 2007.

Longer Term Account $51,918, no trades/positions, up $1,918 since May 1st inception

Despite me being in another country, I saw no truly ideal trades so I didn’t make any trades on Friday…some of you are wondering why I don’t trade every day? I’ll repeat—my biggest, most useful (at building my account) trades come only when there are great pump & dump…everything else is just noise/a waste of time…congrats to the TIMalert subscribers who profited $4,000+ Friday (listed below), I’m on the lookout this week and see several promising setups due to several smallcap companies being added to a popular mutual fund index, the Russell 3000, which forced hundreds of mutual funds to buy last week….but not this week ☺

In MTMC @ 3.2 out at 3.46 for $180 profit -Ub7

shorted MTMC +$220… 1000 shares, in at 3.40, out at 3.18 -akp

I was able to borrow 10 K MTMC yesterday …shorted 7K of it @ $4.21…covered 1/2 yesterday @ $2.95 and still short -Mark G.

Net $110 after commission. Not bad. Thanks Tim! -brad

For these Russell 3000 index addition plays, reserve shares early, I already got some reserved for the day although most aren’t available since EVERYONE wants to short them…be ready to short quick as any alert will probly too late…yup, you’re gonna actually have to KNOW these patterns, you know I’ve created study materials to help you, but many of you are too stubborn…sadddd

CXM, CHBT both jumped 56% on Friday due to Russell, both are potential shorts today

ZN, ISRL are 2 oil plays surging due to the whole Russell thing, both are potential shorts, but shares are tough to find

LZB now back at $4.93, told ya it was breaking out, just too gradual/choppy for me to stay in…I expect a struggle to get over $5, but if it does, I might re-buy since that opens the door to the $5.50 range…probly won’t play it, just not enough quick predictable upside like I like.

  • yah timalert subscribers have lost $ every now and then, but as u can see, most of my trades, and more importantly, my non-trades, just my watchlist predictions come true...go attack someone not p 400%+ in a fully transparent account, idiots

    It's true. Several times in the last month that I have been a subscriber, Tim will email his trade to his subscribers and sure enough it will begin to fall dramatically within minutes of the alert.

    But I think that this tends to happen most noticeably in rather thinly traded stocks so when Tim flips the switch his flock all piles on the short side...think a dozen or so "TIm Tutees" all shorting the same stock at the same time.

    The ones too late to short or cover are (surprise!) exactly the Tim Subscribers who don't email how much money they've lost.

    I still think Tim is going to get a call from the SEC sometime soon asking questions about frontrunning and manipulation.

    After all what is this the Disclaimer for ? He maybe ask question about blah blah, BUT getting prosecuted ....heu maybe... but the SEC winning that case I doubt it.

    he is not a broker placing his order in front of yours, so it's not front running.
    and as far as placing an order then telling others to buy or sell it after your order is in, there is no regulation against that, probably 99% of people trading stocks tell other people about their stocks.
