JAZZ I did one of my riskiest trades ever which has also ended up as one of my best calls ever….shorting 1,000 shares premarket at $3.28, even though I knew a spike was likely…the reason being that when it would eventually fade, there’d be no shares to short anywhere…I was dead on and while I risked the $1,000+ loss due to the morning spike, it was a small enough position/reliable enough pattern to help me hold ALL day as it faded back to my entry and I actually finished up $263 on it…ballsy, ballsy, ballsy, but I was so dead on, it’s scary…TIMalert subscribers profited on both sides of this trade and it’s not over for shorts as while it may spike a bit more, the sellers are persistent and this thing looks to go to the mid-to-low $2s today or tomorrow…chances are high I’ll take a $500+ gain on a measly $3,000 investment. Trades like this, just like HEB, might not be big $ makers, but they are damn satisfying as it reinforces that I know more than the average penny stock trader…it’s not about ego, predicting an entire day’s price action before it happens is skill.
MAPP I told you a few watchlists ago looked like it was gonna break below key support at $10.50, yesterday it did in one nice morning spike, bounced a bit then I shorted 1500 at $1.07 on the afternoon fade…perfect play, similar to EFUT back when it held near its highs for a while, I don’t care how great their drug might or might not be, after the initial $3 to $13 runup, this thing hasn’t shown much strength/volume at all and there’s no real support until that intraday high of $9.20, at which I sold when I made a little on the way up…it’s great for you to know you can make money on both the up and downside of these momentum plays…goal is to cover in the low $9s, but it might not get there, so I just gotta see how it handles itself, obviously covering into a morning panic would be very welcome! I’m up
STAA was the latest biotech one day wonder, many, many TIMalert subscribers bought early and profited on the quick spike, but once the afternoon fade set in, it was game over…I will NEVER buy into morning spikes, waaaay too risky, but congrats to you risk-takers, please just don’t start using leverage or trading with rent money, then I’ll just ring your necks!
CHLN dropped 20% yesterday morning as newsletter pumps can only have so much momentum before it pops…PennyStocking DVD combo package student Timmy Bohen made $1,300 shorting this pump, good work Timmy boy! The easy play is over now, maybe some more downside, but I expect choppiness so I’ll just watch.
GRH finally went negative/sudeways just under $3/share after surging from $1 to $4 in 2 days…financing news is still possible so no big tank until we have that settled…definite potential short though as the chart is near perfect
GWSC spiked from 75 cents/share to $1.75/share, back to $1 all by 10:30am yesterday…finished up 130% to $1.50, up from 25 cents/share 2 days ago…supposedly just won a $30 million solar contract, I don’t believe it for a second, no way this $1 million company gets a real contract…their news on the site I detail on my TIMfundamentals DVD shows this is just a pump & dump…yup, you gotta actually learn how to research these things and crack the pump and dump code!
GPRE reversed higher after fading perfectly, choppy, choppy, choppy, I can’t place these non-pump & dumps, just like other solars of interest CSUN
SPNG is now up to 24 cents, that breakout turned out to be the real thing, good job pumpers…I love how many you’ve fooled into thinking this carcass is real and it definitely was my bad to think about shorting at 13 cents/share the other day (None of you should be losing $ because if you knew anything about my strategy, you’d know when I’m wrong, and yes, it does happen, I cut losses quickly, so even if I had shorted 13 cents/share, I’d have covered on the breakout at 14.5 cents/share, not much harm at all). Obviously I shoulda woulda coulda bought that breakout, but hindsight is 20/20…don’t let the strength fool you, this is a blatant pump & dump and the dump will inevitably be on, I’m actually proud that they’ve been able to pump this thing so foar, good work! (Potential short on any proper fading price action)
RSOL also broke down from the low $4s to the mid $3s, but the breakdown was very choppy, definitely because it wasn’t a pump, it was due to fundamental news…that’s why I don’t like shorting those kinds of runups, even when the runup looks like a pump, get it yet?
ZAGG had its first down day, but like RSOL, it was a choppy breakdown that didn’t finish near its lows..again, remember how much easier it is to short pump & dumps…like CBOU, DDRX, these stocks that go vertical are longer term shorts, not short-term
TRIB has surged $2.75 to $4.75 in just a few days, this is an oldie but goodie biotech…it’s been stairstepping (original PennyStocking DVD students understand!) higher since late April, potential short except that its already faded 50 cents/share…too many plays right now, bogies everywhere!
