I love getting emails like this, keep ‘em comin’:
Hey Tim,
I am reading your blog since December last year, I would start earlier but when i heard name Tim Sykes i associated it with “that asshole from WSW”. I started reading your blog more regularly when i realized that, what you think about CNBC and all those “investment journalists” is exactly what i think about them. Full of BS guys that don’t know what they are talking about!!!!
I just want to let you know that for me you are not “that asshole from WSW” anymore and that because of you i made over twenty thousand dollars (yes, 20k !!!) in about 2 weeks by buying FIG after I read that you are afraid of buying it because it still might go much higher. I bought it for 3.4 and sold for 6.30
I am a CAN SLIM system user, but also a technician so i am not afraid to jump on an occasion like this… long story short… Thank You.
As a token of appreciation i recently ordered your book “An American hedge fund”
I especially love that while I was too afraid to buy the breakout in FIG, as I say over and over and over and over and over again in my PennyStocking DVDs, “you can do better than me”.
While I’m up 300%+ in the last 18 months, I have screwed up soooooooooo many times–this is why I’m a newsletter teacher/blogger/writer/DVD salesman instead of a hedge fund manager/prop trader.
Know what you’re good at–I throw out daily ideas to TIMalert subscribers while proving you don’t need to be perfect, or anything close to perfect to make eye-popping returns, you just gotta know what to do with the golden opportunities when you are dealt them…(get your required lesson books HERE)
