ETC I bought 2,000 shares around $2, my average price was $2.05, because as I said in the alert:
Might seem wreckless to buy a stock thats basically up 100% from $1 today, but the earnings announced this morning were great, nicely and surprisingly profitable and the initial morning spike followed by slight consolidation and a resumed gradual afternoon uptrend lead me to believe this one could act like DDRX, which similarly surged 100% on the first day of surprisingly good earnings–to $4–and then to $12 within the next few days…you gotta love the upside potential in these nanocap companies (even with this 100% spike, its still just a $17 million company…one that just reported profits and got some nice funding from a board member)…we’ll see if i’m right, gonan cut losses if volume fades and sellers come in, otherwise, my goal is to sell between $2.50-$3 in the next few days (play it conservatively as always)
Turned out to be a great call as the stock did surge to my $2.50-$3 target, but I truly believe this could be the next DDRX, read their earnings PR, and see the tremendous strides this tiny company is making…my goal is to sell within a few days, ideally in the high $3s, but I also have patience problems and the longterm chart isn’t great, so if the volume doesn’t keep up, I will get out…good news is a major spike/short squeeze is possible this morning, could be good price action to sell into…gotta see based on the price action, right now I’m liking my $1,500ish unrealized gain.
DWRI spiked at the market open from $1.75 to $2.75, it only lasted a few minutes, but some TIMalert subscribers, namely Nico, got short into that morning spike and profited huuuge when it tanked back to the mid $1s all day…it’s risky to short into a supreme morning spike like that, but sometimes, just sometimes, we see big wins like this…now that it’s dropped so much, it’s still a bit of a short, but there’s not much downside left.
TEN and AXL I messed up on both HUUUUUGE…TEN I got unlucky being short during the GS upgrade/squeeze, but that shouldn’t have stopped me the next day when it tanked, rendering Goldman’s words irrelevant…or even yesterday…stock is now down $2+ from where I covered, $1+ form where I shoulda woulda coulda re-entered my short, glad some of you guys have bigger balls than this castrated choir boy trader (TIMfundamentals DVD students get the reference, the rest of you just think I’m weird)…AXL I just never played and for that I should be castrated (if I wasn’t already)…both nice, if not perfect chart patterns to short, now the bulk of their predictable drops have occurred, still potential shorts, TEN especially, but not mind-blowing shorts after these big 40%+ drops in 2 days…man, I’m pissed I missed these, congrats to the many of you who did based on my morning watchlists and DVD lessons!
COIN spiked from the get go up to $2.60ish, then retreated in a very choppy manner to $2.20ish…no way would I play this stock, waaaay too choppy/manipulated for me, I like clean charts like AXL (and I didn’t even have the guts to play that, saaaad!) No play here for me.
COOP is another distressed bank company, up from 50 cents to $2ish in just the past few days, surging all the way to $3 yesterday in the morning (morning spike as outlined in my PennyStocking Part Deux DVD!) and then fading back to $2ish by the end of the day, but still up on the day, so I didn’t short it…there’s some technical space between $2 and $1.50, but unless this niche really rolls over, it might be tough to collect that without being squeezed, potential short on any proper fading price action.
FITB and HBAN I bitched out on because they’re distressed finance plays…well maybe so, but they each dropped 15% yesterday pretty predictably–once they broke below multi-day support, FITB at $8ish, HBAN at $5ish..kinda choppy breakdowns, but these stocks are waaaaay more actively traded than what I prefer, so choppiness is to be expected…probable further downside in both considering its just their first down day, congrats goes out to the TIMalert subscribers who nailed these, I’m by no means a perfect trader—as you should all realize by now—so what doesn’t work for me could very well work for you…and vice versa (although it’s pretty hard to imagine the patterns on the stocks I actually trade, in which I’m right about 70-80% of the time, not working ☺
VNDA continued its rise, all the way to the $12-13 area, it’s awesome that it keep surging, as I said the other day, it’s a potential buy with its strong chart pattern, especially past $10, and obviously for the brave and bold…some TIMalert subscribers are actually in this, but 2 of them specifically instant messaged me about not wanting to jinx it by telling me any $ gain.
Quick question: would you any of you guys be interested in a service where you could instant message me whenever I was online? Just an idea as it would only work for a few people, but let’s see what you think, thanks!
