Just have to say thanks to Timmay! I just watched the part of PennyStocking Part Deux on Wednesday about breakouts. Actually I watched it three times. I would not have bought into LEA had I not watched this and would not be up $1100 right now.
-Pat

CBOU I called pretty perfectly, see my post HERE, but I missed the predictable morning panic below $5 that several TIMalert subscribers profited on…I did short right below $5 resistance at $4.98 on the bounceback rally…covered it all before the market close for a $1,000 gain around $4.60 because I don’t like shorting overnight in this strong bull market, even if I think this is a major trend changer for CBOU…this is still a potential short, but the predictable play really was between $5 and $4.50ish…now it just gets choppy.

DDRX and JVA are the 2 other hot coffee stocks, both are looking like potential shorts, but DDRX has the awesome earnings and JVA is only up from 50 cents/share to $3..tough to squeeze a short in either one where there’s support everywhere, probly not great for short term traders, but still both definitely potential shorts.

LEA and AXL has both surged from $1 area to the $3.5-4.50 range in just a few days…LEA turned out to be a good short late Friday afternoon, but AXL held up..I’ll short neither until I see some fading volume and fading price action….duhhhh, ya know the 6 hours of stuff I talk about in my PennyStocking Part Deux DVD!

TEN I am shorted 2000 shares overnight at $6.38 because it did a classic first down dya reversal pattern, and it’s up from $2 to $7 in just a few days…perfect morning panic from $7.50 to $6.25, nice fade all day long, I shorted near the market close in anticipation of a morning panic below the $6.25 level and a possible retest of $6…will aim to cover my short right abov e$6 or below it, depending on how it acts around that key support level (would love to see stop lsoses get taken out so I can cover in the $5.70-$5.80 range)

LNET was a potential buy the other day after strong earnings, it keeps uptrending, actually breaking out to new post-earning rally highs, but it’s no DDRX, moves to slowly for me, next!

BCRX keeps downtrending gradually, finally taking out the $3 support, but even then, it dropped immediately to $2.80 then came back! It’s too stubborn/slow moving for me even if this key breakdown makes it a potential short…gotta watch out for flue news that can spike it big…not worth the risk for a short termer like me.

MCTH is the pump and dump up from 25 cents/share to now $2 in just 2 days…closed at $1.55, fading already a bit, this is a short short short if I can find any shares to short as this company is literally worthless outside of their pumping…my God, I love Short Selling pump and dumps! Let’s find some shares, even 500 shares I’ll take because that’d be a $500 probable profit over week/months.

PWAV broke out of a multi-month base below $1, surging 40 cents/share to $1.30ish on Friday…no resistance until $2, but this is a real company, a really distressed company!!!, so there are bitter shareholders everywhere, the float isn’t controlled by a small group like my preferable pump and dumps…11 million shares traded on Friday, it’s active, picture DRYS but cheaper…potential buy

AINV the stock I bought the other day at $5.84 on the back of an absolutely perfect technical breakout, looked like the rally was gonna fade, but now it’s up to $6.70…these rallies can go further than anyone thinks, this is still a potential buy, but I’m too cowardly/ADHD to buy into such a slow mover, next!

FITB and HBAN are 2 small banks, both up huuuuge on Friday, I don’t care how much they go up, hey’re not up on hype or manipulation, this is distressed investing/TARP plays, my technical analysis means little when it’s the news/stress tests that move these stocks, no thanks, I’m not touching either one of them, next!

ZAGG surged another 12% on Friday, glad soooo many TIMalert subscribers bought near the market open and sold or are sitting on hefty profits now…the chart is getting more and more vertical meaning it looks to have a blow off top soon…but until that happens, this sketchy stock–yes I don’t care how good the product is, they hired Red Chip to promote them and Red Chip usually only works with sketchy companies that need to raise $–should keep surging, I’m waaay too conservative to buy up here in the $4 range, so I’ll look for a Supernova as a potential short.

HEB is a sketchy biotech that surged 64% on strong volume of 10 million shares Friday…every time—and I do mean, every, think 9 times in a row—its spiked, its been a good short, but patterns evolve so will this spike be the one that squeezes shorts? You MUST know how I’m gonna play this, right? The same way I play any hype/manipulation spike, sit back and wait for the proper fading price action for a potential short…I’d love to short this after a multi-day short squeeze, but I’m not sure how much longer this stock stays up.
