How I Pulled A Yearlong Emotional Rope-A-Dope On DealBreaker.com Readers

The results of which are just starting to become apparent:

When I started reading Dealbreaker not that long ago, I used to think “hah hah hah who’s this jerk Sykes that all the cool guys on Dealbreaker are making fun of?”

After a while I realized it was just the opposite.

I’m working to refund my account and use some of your ideas. Like an idiot I re-funded my OptionsXpress account. They aren’t very good, esp for PennyStocking with Tim. So I’m going to try to get it up to 3.5K from 1K and then move it over to a new Thinkorswim account. I think 3.5K is their min.

You’ll see me on your signups one of these mornings real soon before the deal expires.

And when the cash starts rolling in I’m coming to steal your girl!

PS Just kidding. No need to call the FBI or anything. Later.

If you remember, my introduction to blogging was by way of the many features on Dealbreaker about me…..see most of ‘em right HERE…and while a lot of it was stupid and immature, I had a vision that all that taunting and flaming and just waste-of-space “publicity” would eventually benefit me because no matter how many people hated on me, my strategy and my confidence that I’d have a website, a subscription business and instructional DVDs very much like the one I currently have, would eventually bring even my greatest haters to their knees and turn them into readers, friends and customers.

And I was right.

Just like Michael Goode, aka “Reaper“, who was once my greatest hater, writing his most popular blog post entitled “Timothy Sykes Is Full of BullShip“, eventually saw I wasn’t some snakeoil salesman, there werereasons and a strategy behind my success and that that strategy was not only replicable, but actually pretty easy to teach too.

Michel Goode subsequently became my first TIMalert lifetime subscriber (if you’re interested, contact me HERE and you’ll get 10% off all my products FOREVER) and posted this nice graph of how my picks/PennyStocking strategy have made him $50,000+ within a few months (he’s up like $3,000 this year and has made close to another $1,000 as a TIMaffiliate, pitching my products for a 25% commission.

In conclusion, the rope-a-dope, in terms of getting people to hate you, is a dangerous/risky but potentially rewarding marketing tactic…I thank Dealbreaker for helping me pull it off so nicely!

By the way I signed up for a thinkorswim.com account the other day and was talking to them online today about funding.

You don't need 3.5k to open an account with them!!!

I only have 2.5k in my Shittrade account right now and they're going to move it all over and even pay (up to $100) the ACAT (a.k.a. transfer fee) that Shittrade may/may not inflict on me. Their site says 3.5k minimum transfer amount for this gesture, but 3 TOS chat supporters said otherwise!

My account is already setup for margin (something Shittrade makes you print, sign fax/deliver to an office of theirs once your account reaches 2k) and I'm not even funded yet! You can also short shares even with less than 3.5k balance.

Don't wait...just move to TOS if your current broker is as bad as Shittrade!
