If you don’t know who Asher Roth is, gooooood! You don’t need to know who he is.

The last thing the world needs is another white rapper.

The last thing you need to do is visit his website The Daily Kush.

Don’t fall for his “I Love College” music video, no matter if the beat is pretty sweet.

Lastly, don’t be influenced by the celebrities you see in the video below–it doesn’t matter that Asher’s got one of my good high school friends behind him, don’t let that influence you at all–DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER BUYING HIS RECORD ON 4/20, you’ll probly be too high to make any purchases that day so don’t risk buying something you’ll later regret:

Reverse marketing, how original. I think its going to be funny when white emo/suberban kids save hip-hop from all the retarded garbage thats been rinsed and repeated, lets make a new dance move, shit for the last few years. "superman dat hoe!" "lick it like a lolipop" Ugh yeah ok.

Real hip-hop isn't dead its just underground.

If you like Asher you should check out Atmosphere mad skillz.

    Tim,

If you are all about transparency, then why did you delete my post yesterday re: DNDN. Did I touch on something that would help Peter in his lawsuit against you? Remember, I said last week that DNDN was a real stock and that you shouldn't short it based on your own rules - and it was YOU that blew off that rule? You are a fake TIM. Claiming that this is an entertainment site and then running around the world spending money that people pay for a trading service - pathetic. A fake. You made false claims about DNDN last week when you shorted it and blew me off when I challanged your logic in doing so - A Fake. You run around the world spending money that people give you for a "entertainment" service under the cover of disclaimers - A Fake. I believe nothing you say and hope you lose all of the money you have made in this "entertainment" service - a fake.
  • i delete wastes of space, this isnt elitetrader u degenerate piece of crap

"Cop dat"... lol. 100 years ago there wasn't a white guy alive who wanted to be black, but now that they have made a name for themselves in the arts oh it's time to be black now. Get the fk outta here. Silly stoners, rap is for blacks.

niiice, the old reverse marketing to pique our interest. Whatever you do Tim, don't listen to my brothers new band Love at war. The music is targeted at college girls and you definitely don't want to go see a lot of them, but you will if you go to their concert at Antone's on the 23rd if you live near Austin. I would say check their demo of 'sideways' on myspace at loveatwarus but you might be too busy jamming to Asher who?

Two of the three videos I saw were sort of weak. Not saying Roth doesn't have potential because the video "Roth Boys" was right on point. Good lyrics, straight beat; it flowed nicely. Reminded me of the days of Real Hip Hop (back in the 80's & 90's) From what I understand, he's going places. When you have Jay-Z backing you, the only direction you going is Up. Though I'm not a fan of suburban, white kids rapping but the crap that's being pushed through the pipes today, anything new would be an improvement.
