The following was sent to TIMalert subscribers at 2:30am today…get ready for sooooooo many plays:

Head’s up, we’ve got LiveStock today from 1-2PM EST and a special guest star who is an actual stock promoter, see his post from a few months ago

The days of dozens of potential plays continues, unfortunately, most have only been good from the long side as there aren’t many shares to short….that will gradually change as initial shorts get squeezed…pray for more short squeezes!

The NASDAQ is right at bigtime resistance so let’s see what this rally is really made of…could be a good shorting opportunity if the resistance holds…or an excuse for more of a short squeeze…

HIMX is the one I’m short 3000 shares overnight, down 8 cents/share on it so far, but as I said in my alert to TIMalert subscribers, I didn’t have a great entry and I expected strength in the afternoon since the overall market was been getting stronger…it still finished down on the day/near the day lows so it was a win…barely…let’s see if it can take out $2.85 today, as then we can have some serious panic selling down to support at $2.50…if it doesn’t tank big or if it holds $2.85, I’ll cover because there’s too many other places for me to spend my time/money on right now…some PennyStocking DVD students have already profited (they’ve learned to anticipate patterns and be better than me!):

shorted HIMX 500 @ 3.14 cover at 2.90. the easiest $94 i have ever made.
thank tim. I like peanuts…lol
-D.

CTIC is now up to 70 cents from 10 cents in just a few days, longterm chart and common sense this is one of the worst biotech’s in the world, any spike like this is a great shorting opportunity…FDA approval upcoming or not (likely not)…especially as early short sellers get squeezed….momentum traders love this stuff & TheStreet.com articles only help, top potential short, PIR-style

CHB had the perfect chart to fall off a cliff late afternoon yesterday…I missed it, but some TIMalert subscribers banked:

+$494 in realized profits on CHB so far on 4k shares … got a bunch more unrealized, avg. entry price .69158, holding 6k shares short o/n.
-Reaper

I screwed up, I’m sorry…the key is learning my strategy yourself so you don’t have to rely on a mistake-junkie like me! This exact chart pattern makes up nearly half of PennyStocking Part Deux DVD

EVK is a thinly traded piece of crap apparel company that has surged from 75 cents to $2 on 200,000 shares, I’d love to short this in the mid-$2 or $3s as there’s resistance everywhere…once the stock settles down and comes back to its carcass-like senses…potential short

FXRE is another 1 to 70 cents in 2 days play, obvious potential short, no shares anywhere, hopefully some open up today, but I’m not holding my breath

PIR bottomed only 20 cents off its highs, see this company did have positive self-fulfilling news, not my ideal kind of short…spammers, where are you, comeback!

GBE is a real estate firm, up 40 cents to 75 cents, the $1.15 closing price yesterday is just a typo…solid resistance at $1ish, I’d love to short it in that range!

VOXW I finally covered my remaining 13 shares at $2.50 for a total 39% profit…gotta love GTC (goood-til-cancelled) orders, took a few days, but it wasn’t very hard to guess I’d get the rest without changing my limit…my IB account is now up to $12,735 from $12,000 in less than a month…crappy software, but great borrows, the main reason I’m up 5% this month.

ZAGG the only stock I talked about on LiveStock last week as a potential buy…it’s up 30%+ since then, I missed it, but there’s no way you guys should have…definitely watch what stocks we talk about today

MYRG is a slow moving breakout play, definitely a breakout but there are far too many other great plays now to care about such a boring stock, this is for longer term players only!

SOLF, YGE, CSUN, ASTI, JASO, TSL are all surging solar stocks, each up a ton due to oil coming back…I doubt I’ll play any of them as this isn’t about hype/manipulation, it’s a solid sector runup, which can last several days/weeks, more potential buys than shorts for now.

This is what I was refering to when I asked Dean if he was still concerned about selling off a fraudulent stock certificate and he didn't know what I was talking about. And yes I know the difference between right and write and you, Tim, of all people, with all your typos in your blog posts, should know it happens sometimes you grammar nazi!

"Then in late June 2005, a full 6 months after I quit working at Citrus Research, I got a call out of the blue from Citrus’ CEO. He wanted me to promote Unidex Bancorp International, a sub-penny deal he’d been working on. Unidex traded at $0.002 and just issued a new release hyping an “exclusive agreement” with the Venezuelan Government. I knew the deal was ultra-shady from day one, but its easy money in the promotion game. I told him I wanted 50 million shares ($100,000) and he willingly obliged and told me to stop by the office the following day to pick up a stock certificate.

The following morning, I showed up at his office really early in anticipation of a major payday. He handed over the 50 million share stock certificate for Unidex Bancorp Intl., but not before inconspicuously placing it in a manila folder. He told me “not to tell anyone about this” and I didn’t, until now.

I raced right to the nearest Scottrade branch to deposit my Unidex stock. I expected to liquidate my position the following day, and was surprised when I received a phone call from Scottrade that same afternoon.

Apparently, the Unidex stock certificate I’d been given wasn’t “DTC Certified”, and Scottrade wouldn’t deposit it. I picked up my certificate and called Citrus’ CEO to see what went wrong. He said the certificate was good, and he even put the “transfer agent” on the phone with me, who I recognized as my old co-worker.

She told me to call Brody at J.T. Derby, a small broker/dealer in NYC, who would take care of everything. Surely enough, J.T. Derby accepted my stock certificate and I began liquidating my position immediately. I hit every imaginable bid that day and caused the stock to drop over 50%. I couldn’t care less, because I was in the game for myself, and I just made $50,000 cash.

Citrus’ CEO called me for the next 2 weeks to see how my Unidex campaign was going, but I didn’t answer a single call. After a while he stopped calling me and on August 1, 2005, Unidex Bancorp International issued the most disturbing press release I’ve ever seen. They withdrew their previous statements about the “exclusive agreement” with the Venezuelan Government and informed the public that a 3rd party had hijacked the company by issuing over 40 counterfeit stock certificates. As you could imagine I didn’t sleep much that night, figuring I’d get a call the next day from the S.E.C. about the 50 million counterfeit shares I just sold.

To my relief the next day passed without any inquires. The next day… nothing. The next week… nothing. Before I knew it the leaves were changing colors and I was celebrating the greatest unintended financial heist on my life! I became obsessed with reading Unidex message board posts on iHub from disgruntled investors, and felt only the slightest guilt for taking their money. I mean come on, I’m a stock promoter."
  • I made huge gains on CTIC (I got in at 12 cents) and LJPC (got in at 6 cents) but sold out on both of them today. Obviously I wish I would have got out of CTIC yesterday....

    timbo!

EVK reported positive earnings, how is this a piece of crap stock to short?
  • Ah YoungGunz now I gotcha.

@ 11:15 you said "Didn't you right that you still have illegal stocks or stock certificates that you're afraid to cash in?" ...

I didn't know you were referring to this but if you're interested in reading more about it check it out here-- http://bit.ly/fYK
