I’m Now Up 3% In 2009 So If I Was The Motley Fool I’d Be…
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Sun 22nd of Mar, 2009 02:00:43 PMPromoting the fact that I’m beating the S&P 500 by 15%, after of course my total annihilation of it last year when it dropped 40%ish and I was up 197%…
Just as they do on their list of absolutely pathetic premium products, none of which has made ANY of their subscribers any $ (their “best” one might’ve beaten the S&P 500 by 32%, but it’s still down!)
And don’t give me that “but you’re a short seller” crap, when you write a premium newsletter, I don’t care what strategy you use, subscribers pay to make money on the picks, it’s an absolute return thing.
But I won’t be proud that my TIM account has gone from $42.5kish to $44kish in the first 3.5 months this year, that sucks!
Now, it was inevitable there was gonna be a slow time after the crazy last few months of the 2008 in which I was earning 10-20%/month for several months in a row, remember those good old tmes…and I am up 10% off my lows, but no, I won’t congratulate myself or my strategy because TIMalert subscribers deserve more.
Of course, they know they shouldn’t expect more, because as I preach in my istructional trading DVDs, anyone who expects profits from trading Penny Stocks is in for a nasty surprise.
But I’m just writing this post so you know I’m going to try harder. I’m gonna research more. I’m gonna get up earlier. I’m gonna nurse these injured spammers back to health so they can do what they do best, pump stocks for us to short!
I will not be grouped with these mediocre and under-performing newsletter writers, I will destroy them because nobody wants it as bad as I do…and my subscribers and students will benefit!
