Check Out How My Crazy Friday Watchlist Performed…
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Sat 21st of Mar, 2009 12:55:26 PMRemember my massive 17-stock Friday watchlist?
I spent a lot more time on it, think 4 hours+ than I normally do because I filmed my entire research process so 3 hours of that will be the second half of my upcoming TIMfundamentals DVD (order now as $50 off pre-order ends on Wednesday next week!).
See how each stock acted and some TIMalert testimonials:
Tim,
My subscription to TIMalerts is paid for for the next 6 months by 2 small trades. I only put $500 at risk on each occasion. I can’t help but learn a little each day. Even if I don’t make another trade, it is well worth it.

CHRS profit of $100 or so
-Reaper
Shorted CHRS from 1.48 to 1.25 for a $410 profit. Shorted ID @ 4.83, now below 4.7, holding over the weekend.
-N.
Got out of CHRS for a small loss around $50. This morning’s price action caused me to cut losses when it failed to break through 1.40. Should’ve held, but hindsight is 20/20. Good learning experience however.
-W.
Got in w/ you on VOXM @ 3.90. The bid ask spread on it is pretty ridic…
-David
The two stocks I was shorting, CHRS & VOXW dropped 23% and 30%. respectively, on the day…
I covered CHRS for $150 in quick bitch-like gains at $1.43, leaving a cool $750 in profits had someone beat me over the head and I not regained consciousness until today. Since as you can see form the chart below that VOXW is not a trade, but more of a gimme, I held overnight and fully intend on covering under $2 next week…100 shares I found to short of VOXW as opposed to 3,000 CHRS so it stinks, but the pattern, as detailed extensively extensively extensively on my PennyStocking Part Deux DVD package, remains perfect:
So my gains are around $300 on CHRS and VOXW, pathetic, but that puts me up 5% on the month so it’s not the end of the world.
In other crazy long watchlist news, I was waaaaaay too passive with TRW and TEN potential shorts as both dropped 15%+ on the day, but I was dead on with MXFD, SOLF and ASTI being solid shorts too…but most of all I’m proud of this call:
LEA amended its financing, kinda like GGC, same kind of runup—50 cents/share to $1.50+…GGC then proceeded to tank 25% off its highs, is LEA next? Potential short!
That happened EXACTLY and several TIMalert subscribers banked…
I doubt I’ll ever be totally right on my lists, but this was probly my best showing ever and I’m very glad that anyone who buys my TIMfundamentals DVD will see that!
