7 Reasons Why Hundreds Of Millions Of Dollars In Taxpayer-Funded Bonuses Going To AIG Executives Don’t Matter
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Sun 15th of Mar, 2009 01:40:58 PMGotta love how the WSJ tries to be all investigative-y & make AIG’s bonus paying some kind of bombshell, then the AP writes it out in a more consumer-y fashion to get normal people outraged:
1. You dumbasses, you don’t give the keys of a candy shop to a fat kid & expect the fat kid not to do what he does best!
2. Let the financial bastards have their money, their reputations and business models are dead anyway, they might as well put some $ away now while they can.
3. If AIG goes under, the whole economy is truly screwed, we have no choice but to give them whatever they want, they know it and we know it, so stop whininh and give them their damn money!
4. Investigative journalists are the ones who should receive big bonuses, they work far too hard for too little money and the public is forced to suffer the consequences of these bitter folk.
5. Our dollar should soon be worthless so as long AIG doesn’t get paid in gold, we actually pulled a fast one ont hem!
6. I can’t profit from this one way or the other so why am I even writing about it? Why does anyone cover such useless topics? I wanna focus on financial manipulation from which I, along with my PennyStocking DVD students, can profit. Screw my 7 reason title, I’m bored with this post, it’s over now.
