It Is Mindless Entertainment But It’s Goooood: Jim Cramer vs. Jon Stewart

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Wed 11th of Mar, 2009 03:01:28 PM

A few hours ago, I tweeted (follow me on twitter HERE!):

No busy/on-any-kind of mission person gives a crap about Cramer/Stewart, just mindless entertainment for mindless people $$

I was wrong. (Like Jon Stewart admitting to being wrong about Cramer :)

I am busy and I am on a mission, but everybody needs to make time for some well produced light-hearted fun, especially in such a boring industry as finance, like the video below…Cramer’s set to appear this Thursday night at 11pm so it should be goooood:

i dont know how Jim Cramer manages to keep his job at CNBC...he is full of shit...ah well all of them at CNBC are full of shit...

Rick Santelli is the only guy at CNBC worth listening too
  • They're both idiots.
  • And by they're... I mean Cramer and Steward, not Santelli.

I've been watch John Stewart and CNBC go at it was a week now. Tim, of course its mindless viewing but in Stewart's defence, he is totally right. CNBC has lied, cheated its viewers into the poor house. Of course the biggest liar on television is Jim Cramer. I'm suprised he still has employment. I know, when I f*ck up at work or lie, my a** would be canned.

I am so sick of Jim Cramer and CNBC's attempt to make hime the offical voice of the market. And with CNBC going back and forth with Stewart, they are essentially validating his point and views about the NBC/CNBC network. When an entire network (NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, etc...) backs one idiot that was shown and proven wrong in the public eyes, says a LOT about the entire NBC clan. Some words come to mind when thinking about NBC/CNBC ... such as, Petty, Pathetic, Pitiful, Pointless, & Retarted.

Visit Huffington Post, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/business/ Cramer admits to a show that his manipulates the market for his own personal gain (or his hedge fund). I'm thinking this is nothing new, information that most people probably already know ... which is why he decided to broadcast it. If only the SEC was a point-proven, real government agency.

You know, I would one morning, like to wake up, make a cup of Joe, and turn on the television to CNBC and watch a headline such as, "CNBC's own Jim Cramer Being Investigated by the SEC". But that is only a dream of mine.
  • i can never put down anybody who helps add to hype/manipulation in the market, they create trading opportunities! Much more than value investor has ever done for anyone, all they do is lose 50-60-70% and claim in time they'll be proven right!
  • I can't wait for Jim to appear on The Daily Show this Thursday. Should make for an interesting and awkward conversation. Who would have thought financial media could be so action packed?

I know you've seen this already about market manipulation, but it is still impressive to hear.
