This was sent to TIMalert subscribers at 1AM today, so they could be prepared:

As expected, there was a lot of stem cell volatility, but I had to resist from pulling the trigger as the only decent time to short was right at the market open, which is also the riskiest, especially for an alert-based newsletter that takes several minutes to disseminate…(less than 8 weeks now until our instantaneous alerts solution should be ready…)

Gotta share this success story because it really pumps me up, hopefully it’ll pump you up too:

Timothy, thus far I’ve read your book, watched the PennyStocking DVDs, and Wallstreet Warrior I set. Now I’m trading, up $8,160. in under 3 weeks. Thanks for TimAlerts!

BLTI has the perfect longterm downtrending chart I like to short into and it’s up over 100% off its 30 cents/share lows to 76 cents/share….still a bit too low to really get me excited, especially since the runup has taken 7 days, meaning its gradual so any reversal will also likely be gradual and knowing that I’m not a great timer means that lowers my odds of success to profit form the short side within 1-2 days.

ANN tanked another 25%, following the same EXACT pattern as MIC and XTEX before it…I wussied out, and now it’s scary to short after a 50%+ 2-day drop, but several TIMalert subscribers, all of whom are PennyStocking DVD students, realized they can do better than me:

Made a quick $300 on ANN today, pays for a year of TIMalerts, thanks!

$656 in 2 hours of work, I will take it Tim

ASTM was the first stem cell stock to surge 100% on the day, but we’re only talking 30 cents to 60 cents/share and even though it eventually dropped to 45 cents/share if you didn’t short within the first 5 minutes, the profit margin just wasn’t there…next!

GERN was another stem cells tock that was a great immediate short, but after that, it was pretty flat on the day…I’m hoping for further strength today as maybe then they’ll be something better to short into….volume is fading bigtime, meaning this Obama news was probly already priced in, so potentially buying this is out.

STEM offered the best shorting, dropping 20% from its opening price, I wussied out, for good reason….it’s not easy to not trade something so ripe, but before making a trade I always think about the risk/reward and shorting 5-10 minutes into the open with big big big news isn’t the best idea. Again, I want further strength to short into today.

GMXR is in freefall, dropping from $20 to $7ish in 7 trading days, potential bounce buy, ideally I’d only buy if it can break higher in the afternoon than it would in the morning…like that ARNA trade a few weeks ago, very risky though.

GOE jumped another $30/share to close at $115….up from $45 just 3 days ago….you gotta love it…obviously try to reserve shares to short every single minute of every single day until this one busts…no huge rush to short though as its so illiquid that it literally could go to $200 before its all over….don’t even bother trying to research it, just a guessing game at this point.

PXCE jumped another 8% on the day, thought about buying it since the trend is your friend, but the volume is only IDAE….lesson learned.
