9 More Hot Penny Stock Candidates For Short Selling
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Thu 26th of Feb, 2009 12:45:40 PMThis was sent to TIMalert subscribers around midnight this morning, preparing them for the trading battlefield:
I’m in a good mood—blame it on being up 5%+ on my TIM trading account and discovering this great review of the best thing I’ve ever done, my PennyStocking Part Deux Instructional DVD package.
No matter, I will not let good distract me from my mission, finding, researching and profiting from the most volatile Penny Stocks du jour:
ARNA bounce attempt has now failed…makes me very happy to have taken quick profits the other day I actually timed this one perfectly, don’t get used to it! Now this stock is dead to me unless it gets volatile again
ZN was a great example of a morning panic—the variables of which are all detailed in my guess which DVD package…down 33% yesterday, my God that was beautiful…but neither I nor anybody else profited much because nobody had any shares available to short. Very sad, but that’s the way the penny stock hype/manipulation cookie sometimes crumbles….next!
RKBD, speaking of penny stock hype/manipulation, is being promoted by several firms, coordinated to have been released along with some fluff news made to look more important than it was…gonna make for a great short, try to reserve shares each and every day.
PALM had the big multi-week spike, then the short squeeze, then the failed breakout, now it’s gradually downtrending and methinks if it cracks $7, we could see a big drop—not ZN-like, but a good $1 or $2, potential short if and only when it breaks support
MELA, speaking of breakdowns, this “revolutionary cancer test” spiked and is now breaking down like any typical failing biotech…I thought it was meaningful news, but I guess not in this market.
ANDS is the one I made $700+ on yesterday, my apologies for the alert not being in time, but even if they were instaneous, it’d still be too late…you gotta learn to anticipate by learning the chart patterns HERE.
Full blogpost is coming up, but check out a few TIMalert subscribers who banked/or shoulda woulda coulda banked!
Shorted @ 6.90 before the close, covered @ 6.70 on the bounce after the morning panic. +$670 -E.
Tim, on your alerts I shorted ANDS at 6.90
I see your reasoning for a market bounce, but I was planning to cover into the morning panic ~6.30 ish. Ofcourse if it gaps up or breaks through 7, I will cover my losses early as taught by you. -dseo80 (PERFECT THINKING!!!!)
shorted 6.9 yesterday too.. -Kelvin
Shorted 2/24 100 ANDS @ 7.43, short 145 ANDS @ 6.81. Coverered all @ 6.59.
Followed 2/24 TIMALERT…. thanks -DJ
crap just missed ANDS … had my order all prepared, but didn’t click it in time. -Reaper
KPPC dropped a fully predictable 14%, but no shares to short anywhere…next!
RGR has surged from $6 to $9 in 3 days, up especially big yesterday on the backs of solid earnings…this is not a short…yet…earnings means it’s never a short, but this is a stodgy old company, methinks it won’t be able to hold its momentum forever, potential short.
SWHC is the other gun maker benefitting lately from a surge in sales, analyst upgrades, basically surging from $2.5 to $4 in 4 days.
