Guess My January Blog Income & Win A Pimp StockTwits Hat

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Sun 15th of Feb, 2009 02:30:23 PM

As I said in the Friday the 13th episode of LiveStock, here’s the contest du week:

Follow me on Twitter and:

Reply to @timothysykes with your guess as to how much my blog made in January to win a free StockTwits hat !!!

For you newbies–I know there aren’t many of you because my trading has, let’s face it, sucked like a typical trader lately (wooo h00oo I’ve managed to control my losses, pathetic…I blame myself and Obama (he’s already proven to be an above average sotck manipulator)–I made $83,000 in December, so use that as your guide…if you want :)

I’ll have a post later this week with the answer so get your guesses in by Wednesday at the latest.

And, remember, just like my brutal honesty in my instructional trading DVDs, as in my blogging about my awesome 2008 trading and shitty 2009 trading–so far–I take revealing my blog income very seriously. It’s not a lie or an exaggeration and unlike the typical useless-and-soon-to-be-forgotten–public-company-CEOs, I ain’t gonna sugarcoat it. That’s why I’m credible and that’s why my instructional dvds sell and the testimonials are ridiculous.

We need to stop being afraid to detail success and failure–it’s absolutely PATHETIC that more bloggers/traders/website operators don’t share their incomes openly. They’re either doing shit for business–yeah John Chow I’m calling you out (you used to share your blog income, but no more?!?!?! ….and you Andy Swan, why are you not on Covestor, you don’t run a hedge fund do you? Yes, they integrate perfectly with Thinkorswim…you made more on one trade than I have in the last year and yet I’m still #1 out of 15,000 traders after an entire year? Disgusting, come dethrone me already! Don’t be afraid to share everything, trust me, it’ll help in the long run)–or they’re banking so much they don’t want people to know. Either way, it’s gonna be fun to watch them squirm in the fast-becoming transparent world of the internet….you don’t want to share, you’re just shadows and dust, shadows and dust Maximus…

Oh yeah, do the Twitter thing, this is a contest post, I forgot…yeahhhh, win a free hat you little hyenas!
