Young Fallen Finance People, Get Your Story Heard On ‘True Life’ On MTV!

That’s right, I just got contacted by a cool MTV “True Life” producer who is looking to cast young people who’ve bee negatively impacted by the mess around us…

main 381x311 Young Fallen Finance People, Get Your Story Heard On True Life On MTV!Check out the MTV True Life website and see it ain’t no fake reality show, they aim to show exctly what their title says, true life.

They’re looking for all sorts of young people–I’d guess under the age of 25-30–who’ve been hurt by this economic collapse, seriously, don’t kid yourselves, that’s what this is…so whether you’re a college student who’s been working your butt off to get straight A’s for a decade all in the hope that Merrill Lynch might hire you (now Merrill is no more, “be bullish!” on betting against Wall St. arrogance), rich daddy’ boy who’s rich daddy just became poor daddy and now you’ve been forced to move from your suite at the St. Regis to share a 350 square foot hole in the wall apartment up in Spanish Harlem with your thankfully generous former housekeeper, lost half/all your life savings because you listened to the “experts” on CNBC saying Citigroup was a buy of a lifetime at $20 (or did that guy say it at $15, I don’t know, I don’t watch that crap..either way I wonder how that dude is feeling now that the stock is trading just above $3!!!), or if you’re a once-upon-a-time fun living, high-flying kind of trader/broker–the kind Trader Monthly used to go after (when they were still in business…burn) because you used to buy $50,000 watches and drink overpriced champagne with surgically enhanced superficial bimbos–but now have been canned and you’re living with your parents and pissed your former drug dealer won’t even return your calls because you owe him for that month you drowned your sorrows in all that coke…or if you’re just a normal guy who was earning a nice $75-$100k/year marketing funds on behalf of what you thought were rock solid financial institutions, maybe $125k with bonus if you marketed well enough, and now you’re not and that sucks….well, I think you get the picture.

Seriously, this ain’t no joke post, if you’re young and you’ve been hurt somehow and you’re willing to share your situation–exact $s and cents sharing not required, this is more about showing the human side, if finance people even have a human side–with an international audience that you know will be re-aired thousands of times in hopes of helping others avoid such a fate, getting back at the firms that lied to you and caused you so much pain, or getting your own Heidi/Spencer-like show or at least getting recognized by girls from all over the world who will feel pity for you and….

CONTACT ME and if you’re story is worthy enough/I don’t think you’ll freeze up when the cameras are rolling, i’ll put you in touch with this producer and you can be an MTV star!

Everyone else/other bloggers/Twitterers, please do repost/pass this post/link around to anyone you think might be interested/perfect for this, gratzie!
