A Few Thoughts Concerning My Haters…

Good comment I got the other week, just haven’t had time to write a post on it:

I saw your blog post addressing the naysayers, and I’ glad you did it. I am a Junior at Pitt, and I’ve been trading equity options since my junior year in highschool, crushing every benchmark out there. All I ever hear from academics is all that nonsense about the market being super efficient, and how its impossible to consistently make abnormal returns The bottom line is that this game is about money. He who makes the most sits on top of the hill. Anyone who has ever traded anything knows that. I feel as though there is a lot more dead weight in this industry than is sustainable, and I think that with this whole financial debacle that we are finally about t get some cleansing of the ranks, particularly in the hedge fund space. I’m not a penny stocker myself, but respect the hustle of anyone who knows how to turn a market beating profit in this game. There are very few of us, and even fewer this year.

Never met you in person, but keep it up. Fuck the naysayers.

Rob

I appreciate it Rob, but seriously the haters don’t get to me at all…I highlight them because:

1. Their inability to do proper research shows just how dumb most people are in this industry
2. It’s entertaining
3. Their comments against my instructional DVDs, which they’ve never seen and only can make assumptions about, allow me to highlight them more!
4. My readers love it!

Its that simple, so haters keep on keepin’ on, you say what you want and I will do what I do, gratzie!

ELLG: give me some thoughts on this stock. I know I know....the DVDs will tell me ALL.....
  • clemans, its good to have people playing devils advocate, if we were all just braggining about our gains, it'd be boring, its HILARIOUS to me that people are hating on a strategy up 200%+ when most everyone else is happy to be down 20%
  • another thing is most of your haters eventually become followers :)
  • correct, thats why i love my haters, if i can turn them, i can turn anyone! reaper was my #1 hater and now he's up $50,000 off my picks in the past few months

I cannot disagree more! Your flame wars contain no educational value and no entertainment after reading same thing for the 3d time. There's absolutely no benefit to your readers. And the arguments of your haters are just really really really dumb, emotional, not based on facts, etc., so there's absolutely nothing to love about their posts and your replies. I've paid very close attention to what those people say, because opposition is always an important part of any society, it reveals many interesting and often hidden facts, but so far THERE WAS NO VALUE IN YOUR HATERS' WRITINGS AND YOUR RESPONSES TO THEM!!!

Thanks to modern technology it's relatively easy to skip all that crap...
