Lots of plays again, but I’ll be traveling to beautiful Las Vegas today to
prepare for the holidays….remember, while I’m primarily a short seller,
it’s been tough the past week so you gotta consider buying these things
too….THIS chatroom is especially good for that
CPY looks to finally crack $3 today, man, I wish I wasn’t flying today…not
that I could find shares to short anyway…this thing has low $2s written all
over it, anybody who can find shares to short, enjoy!
CRWN jumped 40% on takeover rumors, put it on your watchlist, let’s see how
it plays out.
DDSS is now a triple off its 50 cents low in anticipation of FDA drug news
by January 2, 2009…I’m not getting in the way of a freight train, especially
with unpredictable news.
EPIX was up 275% to $1.20 on FDA approval news, people ask “Tim, “Tim, why
don’t you buy into these moves?” I respond a.) I suck at buying, I need true
breakouts, b.) I’m a bad timer, I never know how long they’ll go and c.)
I’ve got an 800 person TIMalert mailing list, no way am I gonna recommend
people buy this as it can fall easily and most of my peeps aren’t
experienced/good timers themselves…I trade conservatively and I’ll look to
short this once the pattern looks more bearish.
HCD has dropped form $9 to $1 in the past few months, only its first day up
now, let’s see how far this thing can rise! HSNI faked me out again
yesterday…always tough to short this stock, still watching for rollover,
hopefully some more stubborn shorts get squeezed, no real resistance until
$8, that’d be awesome if it got up that high.
RUS had its first down day, but it got stronger all afternoon…especially
right into the market close, not a good sign to short…support everywhere,
glad I didn’t take a chance and short this thing, c’mon squeeeeze!
RVI is like RUS and faked a lot of short sellers out…sometimes the right way
to play these things is to buy em, scary as that may seem.
SRT broke out past resistance at $4, no more resistance until $6…let’s see
how far it can go!
WGAT is a longtime sketchy video phone play, now supposedly getting new
funding, interesting development, I like that its sextupled in a few weeks,
but its still too low for me to short, risk-reward isn’t very good.
