Why TIMalerts Isn’t Just For Short Selling

In case you didn’t notice, the vast majority of my trades and my TIMalerts are short sells…

And I get tons and tons comments like “throw in a few buys every now and then” and “do you ever buy”?

As anyone who’s ever read my book An American Hedge Fund or watched my PennyStocking instructonal DVD knows, of course I buy, but only when stocks are really breaking out to new highs, I have trouble buying random stocks that are in play, especially in markets like this…

But if you’re willing to think outside the box on my TIMalerts, nearly every day there are potential buys because before these stocks are great to short, they’re often great to buy, especially into morning and afternoon spikes!

Yes, that’s right, you’re gonna have to use your little minds, and considering you’re Penny Stocks traders whose brains function at half the speed of normal people–not normal finance people, their brains are even tinier for they worship evil things like leverage–it won’t be easier, but take a look at the testimonials form some TIMalert subscribers who have used my premarket watchlists to buy instead of short sell…sometimes even buying after I short because sometimes, yes, sometimes I, along with the rest of the TIMalerts clan, get squeezed (like CPD and TKTM) in the past few days.

As we short sellers are scrambling to cover our positions and cut our losses quickly, these are great buying opportunities!

So many profit angles down here, open your minds like these guys:

Hahahahaha am I the only who finds the irony in the fact that we’re more likely to benefit from Tim’s letter by longing rather than shorting? RVI is already up by 7%, and the volume just keeps going higher. Thanks again, TS.

I just made $1460 on DVAX and I missed all of yesterday’s move. Booyah!

I went long 1k shares at .9997. sold at 1.3903 for a $390 gain in a couple minutes.

ansv nice……………………. in @ 80 out at 1.65, watchin’ the volume cruise
-J

bought 2k ANSV at 1, sold on the way down at 1.25 for a quick $480. Annoyingly bad, but that is 25% in about 3 minutes. :)

Just made $1500 ish profit om ANSV was overnight from $ 0.56

And of course, as usual, the key is to bank from shorting in the end just as emerging PennyStocking superstar Adam N. and a few others did:

ANSV was a fun one. I didn’t play even close to perfect and I banked a total of $2800 playing it long and then short. See trades below.

12/16/2008:
Long 20000 @ $0.30
Sold 20000 @ $0.4125

12/17/2008:
Short 2000 @ $0.925

12/18/2008:
Cover 2000 @ $0.65

-Adam

RVI made 80 bucks off the trade. Tried to get 2000 but dropped to fast only filled 500. Made 340 off of TKTM on morn spike. Total profit 420 today.
