LiveToday 1-2PM EST & 10 Stocks To Watch, Already Made Another $1,800 On One Of ‘Em Today!
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Fri 12th of Dec, 2008 11:11:51 AMSent to TIMalert subscribers early this morning, so they could be prepared…I banked $1800 on CPD, a few other subscribers also banked a few hundred each…are we really the only group of traders really banking just about every day right now?
Yup, LiveStock is today from 1-2PM, watch it here at http://www.mogulus.com/livestock
With all the bailout screw ups, $50 billion frauds and typically negative news coming from companies everywhere, futures are down big right now…so are we going to test the lows? I don’t care, there are several solid plays and that’s why I made $1,800 yesterday and TIMalert subscribers made over $10,000 on CPD…I’ll have a detailed post next week, for now, these are the plays I’m watching:
AKRX has doubled off its lows but it’s only a 2 stock and they got FDA approval this morning, stock is dead to me unless it triples.
ALXA has the same chart as AKRX but no FDA approval…still too boring compared to what else is out there.
DSUP is up from 25 cents to $1/share, watching, I’d love further strength to short into.
FEED seems to get everyone excited to want to short, at least the bunch of over-eager hyenas who I hope get caught in a short squeeze, it’s commodity-related morons! Not a true pump and dump, but many of you wouldn’t know that because you refuse to watch my sooooooo expensive $300 DVDs, instead trading off assumptions that will lose you thousands, idiots, I’m only interested in this stock if it doubles.
PDO is also commodity-related, fell off a cliff from $5 to $4 yesterday afternoon, good chart play, if I had more time/a bigger account, I’d have taken a stab since this is a trader favorite…coulda woulda shoulda, next!
RUBO is a tiny restaurant chain that’s doubled off its lows, on watch for potential short into further strength
CPY is the one I really banked on yesterday, correctly shorting into a panicky morning spike and covering a big 3,000 shares for 60 cents/share…turned out to be dead right on covering since it still didn’t go red on that drop….today I pray for another morning spike to short into, although it’ll be tough with the market opening down so much, probly gonna be an afternoon fade if anything (if you don’t know what an afternoon fade, check out PennyStocking Part Deux, don’t email me asking about it!)
CPD I didn’t play because I was dealing with CPY, but this was a pefect afternoon fade and PennyStocking DVD students baaaaanked:
Made $135 on CPD and $75 on DXCM. Pulled out of CPD waaaayyyyyy too early. -dee
CPD, covered here. $500 gain, nice -BTB
covered at 5.8ish holy crap batman $2320 cash money -nojo
..again today, I’ll be looking to short into any afternoon fade if its not down too much already.
CHUX cracked $2.50 support nicely but only went down a bit fterwards…it traded like a real company, gross! Failure to break down big stinks but today’s nasty market open should reward shorts…too boring for me.
DRYS may be a shipper but it feel off a cliff t $10 yesterday for an easy $1.50/share on huge volume…my rules don’t always work, they’ve just helped me get better odds on my trades over the years, sometimes you just gotta go with the charts…coulda woulda shoulda
