18 Hot Penny Stocks, Not To Buy You Crazy Kids, To Short…Potentially!
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Fri 28th of Nov, 2008 11:43:39 AMSent to TIMalert subscribers early this morning, already up 15% on one of em, the winners just don’t stop..tune into LiveStock 12-1PM EST today and we’ll be talking about it…
Lots of potential plays, you’ll find in strong markets there are tons of plays, but you gotta be very selective or you’ll get squeezed like all the amateur short sellers. And if you don’t understand the terms/lingo, stop emailing me, for heaven’s sake, just get one/all my instructional trading DVDs already…it amazes me how many TIMalert subscribers don’t have the faintest clue of what I’m talking about and yet they’re willing to throw real $ at my picks without even knowing what they’re doing. Don’t do that, you idiots will lose and make me look bad when its really only your fault for not taking the time to learn the risks/subtleties that I’ve worked so hard to teach you. Like trying to do surgery without going to medical school, just dumb!
TWB is one of the worst retailers in existence, and the stock has doubled in the past few days not because their business is improving, but because people are dumb. I’d short, but there is resistance everywhere, just a potential short for me.
CSUN was my #1 potential short Wednesday, but I thought the market closed at 1pm—no, I’m not embarassed, I’m no genius—and then when it did crack $3.70ish, I was in a photo shoot…glad I didn’t short though as you gotta learn to be conservative in this newly bullish market…great afternoon short squeeze, hopefully it keeps going since its tied to the price of oil…still a potential short
PPC has the ultimate death spiral, got an extension from lenders, not shortable, solid fundamental news
ATPG is an oil play, first up dy, watching for further strength before saying it’s a really good potential short
MRLN has gone from $1.20 to $4.70 in 3 days after a huuuuuge death spiral, they loan $ to small businesses, they like this rally. I like that they are Nasdaq, potential short
IPCS is a Sprint affiliate that’smore than doubled in the last few days, along with lots of smallcaps, on watch for potential short
AGM is like Freddie Mac but for farmers, n thanks to me trading this at all, this is hedge fund material, I have no edge.
GRT is a realty trust that’s nearly tripled off its 75 cents/share lows…scary to short in this market, no thanks, too orderly a rise, makes me think its gonna last.
CHRS is also a triple off its 75 cents lows, but its an earnings play, no thanks to me shorting
TESO is a death spiral bounce, first big up day form $5 to $7+…I need more upside before shorting
EMKR is a solar play up form $1 to $2…I like the more downside potential in CSUN for my shorting needs.
MIC has surged form $2 to $5 rom its death spiral, definite potential short
OEH is another death spiral that can barely rebound, $4 to $6 so far
WYN is like OEH, just form $2.5 to $5, right at resistance.
LYV is death spiral 377766748, trying to rebound, all potential shorts since their core businesses are all failing
RMBS is an oldie but a goodie, shorts are getting squeeeeezed
BGC is a big metals company, not exactly my style, but up from $7 to $15 gets my attention, potential short
ZOLT is another metals/alt. energy play, up a bit, I’m watching as potential shorts.
