A Great TIMalerts Winner Putting Me Up 209% In The Last 13 Months & Your Great Odds At Winning $10,000 Next Week

1. The Umoo/TIMalerts $10,000 trading challenge begins and ends next week…we have less than 100 signups so you odds of winning the grand prize of $2,500 is pretty good, not to mention the prize structure (detailedd in this post) goes down to even the person who finishes 80th!

Your odds are even better since most of the signups are dumbass college kids who saw me on TV and think they know anything about trading. Signup already, it’s free if you do it by December 1st!

2. I had a big $1700 win shorting SRI yesterday….considering it went up today with the market, well, that’s why I like taking quick profits…especially in this newly bullish market environment (hence part of the reason I didn’t short CSUN today…this afternoon I mean, photo shoot I had in the morning)

Easiest thing to do to explain is just paste the testimonails from TIMalert subscribers (no free trial, signup HERE!) stemming from the alerts I emailed/text messaged/posted on the subscribers-only TIMalerts.com website:

In and out quick for $860. I’d hold longer but I have crap to do.

tried 2500 @4.45 as soon as I got text (nice Tim) got filled with 300 then chased the rest. Canceled remaining 2200 but rode the 300 to 3.73 for $202 net. Next time I’ll be in before Tim.

shorted 2500 SRI at $4.45, auto parts maker, classic multi-day dead cat bounce off its lows, right into resistance, a 2 day spike from $2.50, also just took out morning support at $4.55, no support until 3.90 then 3.50…obviously the risk here is some auto industry news/overall market spike so i’ll be watching this one very closely…could get a bit illiquid going into the holidays, which is probly good for any shorts since buyers wont wanna step up and risk until afterwards

2 hours later:

covered my 2500 SRI short at $3.76ish…huuuuuuuuge winner, 15% or $1700 for me, already two or three dozen testimonials, benefitted from a perfect setup and me catching the top in the market spike..i tried to hold, i swear i did, but i can’t not take this sized gain, holding an extra hour–as i don’t want to trade against my subscribers–gave me an extra few hundred in profits…sure, it could go down more and i’m not covering because i think it’s going higher, some exits are just to take profits because they’ve met your expectations when you first entered the trade. great lesson, now my account is over $38k, up 209% since november 1, 2007. very nice indeed.

  • If I was only funded yesterday, lol. But I was funded today so I'll check tomorrow for some possible plays. IPCS was my favorite until some idiot probably a really bad typo and sold off at 5.49 (closed at ~8).

Tim, you are really ethical to wait a couple of hours before covering, allowing more time for your subscribers to get in. Your haters don't know better and should be shot.
  • moby
Tim, don't worry about the haters. I want to take you out to dinner one day in Manhattan to thank you for making me a future millionaire.

Wish I was able to trade. Didn't have any PDT left after blowing 2 on Monday with a mix-up when I covering.
