So Many Stocks To Short Sell: Potentially 28 Today
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Tue 25th of Nov, 2008 12:30:55 PMThis was sent last night to TIMalert subscribers so they could prepare for today, I’ve already sent out a TIMalert on one of these and we’re up 15% so far….guess which one?
Let’s just bail every moron out; this overly compassionate government is
gonna sink our joke of an economy til 2010 and beyond but for now it’s good
for a market bounce that allows me to short crap rising:
AER is a 1st day spiker, up 50% to $4ish
APP is only the st day spiker, but most came in the last 5 minutes…reminds
me of a weak EVC/KVHI, I need more spiking to interest me
CTCM had its first up day into a perfect downtrending chart, but its got
intraday support everywhere, no thanks
NOG is the little energy play that could, oil related, no thanks FOR has
surged from $3 to $5, right at resistance, might be opportunity to short for
50 cents of downside, not really enough for me…yet, I want more spiking
TACT first day spike from $3 to $5 on news of repurchase program, c’mon
spike more for a potential short!
WSM surged from $5 to $7 since we find out CEO had to sell shares as a
debt..still doesn’t make people wanna buy their overpriced crap, potential
short
RMTI couldn’t stay green, potential short although it is illiquid and
there’s many better plays out there…support just above $3.50 and $3.
SOLR is the worst solar play around, couldn’t even go up much yesterday,
already up from $1.50, definite potential short.
CHRS is up from 60 cents to $1.20
RDNT is a nice two-day spiker, but only from $2 to $3.25 so far.
SIFY had a big last minute spike, now that’s really EVC-like, I’ll try to
reserve shares to short.
SPPR surged from $1 to $2, right at resistance,
still would love to catch early shorts in a squeeze
JASO is just like any other solar play up 50% in 1 day, c’mon big oil
rebound, pleaseeeee
CSUN is the exact same as JASO, why do the executive pretend any
differently?
FCEL just another alternative energy play to watch
OVEN gapped up big and did nothing, means it’s not a high priority potential
short for me, I need spiking, not rational jumps.
PTEC is one of the worst publicly traded companies in the world, up from $2
to $3 so far, needs more upside for me to wanna short
NBIX is a crappy biotech, but it doesn’t have any historical volatility, not
worth my time writing about let alone shorting
MMR keeps surging, it stays on my potential short watchlist
SD keeps going, but it’s consolidating as it surges making any short tough,
no thanks
YRCW dipped but kept going, potential short for sure
KVHI was an easy 15% gain for me, see detailed post here
STXS keeps going, gotta love the stubborn shorts who think they can hang on,
I hope they get squeezed til their accounts bleed like a value
investor…which would also open another potential short for me!
NCT is nearly a quadruple off its 50 cent-ish lows, lots of intraday support
though
PRST is a perfect 1st day bounce into a death spiral…gotta reserve shares to
short, hopefully into more upside
BHS is like PRST, death spiral and spike and all, god I love this chart
pattern!
TASR had fundamentally positive news, not a short for me.
