Introducing the UMOO/TIMalerts $10,000 One Week Trading Contest
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Mon 10th of Nov, 2008 08:06:23 AMYou can go to the official sign up page for all the details, but in a nutshell:
1. This is a one week trading contest to see who can bank the most December 1st-December 5th, 2008.
2. It’s only open to TIMalert subscribers, if you signup for UMOO without being a TIMalert subscriber, we’re gonna know and you probly won’t get any prize $ so do yourself a favor and suck up the $30 as you’ll get daily watchlists, solid trade alerts and access to the TIMalerts.com subscribers-only website with chatroom
3. The total prize money is $10,000, this is real money and the winner of the contest gets $2,500…I’ll have the exact prize breakdown in another post, but the winner gets $2,500, 2nd place get $1,500 and even people who finish between 40-80 get $25…considering TIMalerts only has 800 subscribers, most of whom are true beginners and only about half even open their emails, EVERYONE has a good shot at making some fun cash.
4. You’ll have to open a Umoo account for $10, but if you do sign up before November 30, you get refunded.
5. The contest deals with S&P 500 stocks only so it’s not my ideal strategy…once you see how tough trading real/random stocks is, this’ll probly strenthen your conviction in PennyStocking!
6. See all the details/rules HERE.
