TheStreet.com just reported earnings and they sucked….no wonder why their stock chart looks like this:

Oh yeah and in the same PR they appoint JC, Mr. “down 30%+ on the year like all the rest of the industry schmucks” as chairman.

Guys, c’mon, haven’t you learned yet that your unending stream of opinionated articles about every actively traded stock under the sun, especially shit like AAPL, SIRI and GOOG ain’t getting the job done? Sure, you might be getting a ton of hits/traffic, but you’re only collecting a small bit of the high margin revenue that stems from useful as opposed to ubiquitous information.

Do you not understand the vast majority of people need to be taught not to invest in a company based on simplistic PE valuation/product/service evaluation. Those who follow such nethanderthalic reasoning get crushed in markets such as these.

And, why do you not show all your columnists’ track records? I’ll tell you why–and I say this without the slightest bit of research just probability and industry know-how, all your columnists’ track records suck! I speak from experience when I say how many premium subscribers stem from being atop the leaderboard of a transparent platform like Covestor.

And for the love of god, don’t even get me started on your spamming and absurd premium newsletter offers like this:

It never seizes to amaze me how people still fall for this...
This is on the same level as the Nigerian e-mail scams.
John Cramer..."I'm having a great year too..." haha I bet he is, what an idiot.
  • haha disciplined investor just told me they spelled baseball wrong in the title, funny stuff

Last I checked Tim, RevSharks ETF newsletter was the only one on the site in the green for the year.

Lenny doesn't count cause he books his winners immediately but lets his losers stay on the books for months, hoping they will turn around
  • You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people will agree with your points.
  • I should have discovered this great discussion long time ago. Many thanks!
