10 Hot Low Priced Stocks I’m Watching

Sent out to TIMalert subscribers early AM today….A few good stock plays today:

APWR $4 to $8, now back to $5 in 3 days, the perfect PennyStocking party/pattern, makes me sick that I didn’t get in on that, but I’m glad many many many TIMalert subscribers did. When that happens, I know I’ve done something right!

ALDA dropped from the get go, not much more intraday droppage afterwards…in fact, an impressive $1/share rally into the market close

ALLI up to $5.30 from $3.70 on little volume, obviously not an ideal play, but still a potential short
COIN $4 to $6 in a few days, everyone wants shares to short, supposedly fees attached with borrowing shares, not worth it for me until it goes up waaay more

ELRA has gone from 75 cents/share to $1.25 in a few days..how? Spammers! Glad to see tiny crappy companies still paying to be “featured” Definitely gonna try to reserve shares to short every single day til this thing collapses.

OCCXD was up 200% yesterday and it has a nasty longterm downtrend and its proven that it can really spike and plummet in the past. All in all, a perfect play, let’s see how much fun it’ll be trying to reserve shares to short.

FTBK has a nice rebound from $6 to $10, but it’s a bank so I’m not chomping at the bits to short this one right away

RF is another bank rebounder…nope, I prefer shorting frauds and pump and dumps like ELRA

QELP went from $2 to $6 to $4, another perfect pattern, just not many shares available to short—gotta understand this strategy works well, but there are some obstacles to everyone having a profit party all the time.

LBAS/IDEA are two probable frauds that have held up extremely well—if this overall market ever rebounds for real and these stocks can get some volume, I’d be looking to buy on the breakout…yup

    can someone calculate my performance?

    I have $600,000 in in laddered CDs with 6 different banks. All 6 have a coupon of 3%, all paid at maturity, which is Dec. 31 of this year. I started this account January 1st of this year.

    Also, I have a TOS account that I started with $10,000, and I currently have $17,500 in that. I'm new to this game, and I was hoping someone could help me calculate my return. I started this account Jan 1 of this year as well.

    Does TOS allow you to reserve shares via email or internet or do they require telephone.

  • Hey Billy - you can do both phone and online chat - chat is usually faster since you can be up at 7am and reserve all the shares you can get.

    you said, and your're pretty smart, I am up 75% and I have 617,500 on a starting amount of 610,000....

    this is where I get confused, I thought I was up 75% as well, but than did some simple math, and 75% on 610,000 would give me 1,067,500...I dont get it.

    is this the scum bag aspect of wall street tim keeps talking about? Did someone steal $450,000 of money that should be mine?

    I mean, clearly, I am up 75%, yet my account only shows 617,500. Of course, I do have 18,000 in interest coming my way in December, but that does not get me to the $1,067,500 a 75% return would.

    Something is fishy, I have to get to the bottom of this!!!

    My brother, who has his High School diploma, said I am only up 5.82%. He included 10 months of interest, as I would be paid that if I sold my CDs.

    Guys, who is right, my brother or us and tim? (he does have a HS diploma, so using him may be a little unfair to us)

    OCCXD--- get it early- shorted- in at 6.05---watch it fall....I know a ridiculous high when I see one.... Just like SIL, the sweet old entry- this time I am not taking a quick profit-

    Hey, I know you don't usually trade stocks under a buck, but I'd like your opinion about shorting XSNX in the near term. Its up about 50% in 3 days, but not on a lot of volume. And it was flat all day today. I don't even know if there are shares to short!

    How do you get shares to short of stocks under $2 ? I think ameritrade wont even let you short stocks under $5 thanks.
