Sykes Says: Some Suppressive SEC Short Selling Scrap Stocks Suckas!

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Thu 2nd of Oct, 2008 11:23:50 AM

Not much for me to watch today considering spammers are all but out of business/effectiveness right now and the Sec just voted to extend the ban on Short Selling businesses run by incompetent people aka financials…I usually stay away from from financials anyway, but when there are absurd moves like TMA and BBX, my mouth waters and all I can do is spit right at Big Brother SEC himself. Here are today’s scraps:

EFJI won real contracts, another IDEV-type play, I respect meaningful order wins, I don’t short unless the action is really ridiculous, which isn’t the case here…yet.

RZ is the best looking out of all these mediocre/ugly plays, like the last girl at the bar right before closing time, I’m not giving in, she’s taken quite a few shorts home with her and they complained of burning and squeezing over the next few days…replace burning with squeezing and that’s what could happen here. But forget my worrying for a second, it’s the first down day, so let’s see how well the pattern holds true.

SIL, what’d you think it’d go down forever? Tough to play for a bounce, but every now and then it happens.

QCOR. Wow, this has gotta be the worst breakout attempt of all-time, not because it’s failed, but because it moves slower than a 90-year-old on a respirator. Pull the plug already, the patient is suffering.

SRWY is a low volume crappy OTCBB stock, just so happens to be up 200%+ yesterday…good luck finding shares to short, this pumping/manipulation, whatever, I hope they run it to $6 or $7, CNEX-style–remember that one? (Newbies you have no idea of what these stocks are capable.)

NCC/FNM/FRE are just three hard hit financials any people are emailing me about, thinking there’s gonna be big comebacks. Maybe they’re right, but I’ve rarely seen big surges from stocks in death spirals…I’d say the odds are no better than 50/50 and probly more like 10/90 or 20/80. What will it take for you morons to understand that I’m not interested in those odds? Especially when everyone and their mother is playing that guessing game. I FOCUS ON TRADE SETUPS WITH LITTLE COMPETITION AND HIGH ODDS, GET THAT THROUGH YOU MENTAL MIDGET HEADS! Will you please rewatch my PennyStocking DVD and implement the lessons it teaches. Look at how Michael Goode has made $40,000 in the last 4 months using my strategies, more if he’d stay disciplined…and trust me, he’s not even that smart, you should be making waaaay more.

I had shares of VSE, but didn't cover during the morning panic on the first down day and took a tiny loss. I didn't get back in it. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
  • I had shares, but I was long (pause for laughter). Still, the short call was a good one.
