11 Hot Stocks aka These Stocks Care Nothing About The Credit Crisis!

This was emailed/posted to TIMalert members at 7:30am today…already I traded one of these–which has traded millions of shares and was easy to borrow aka no excuse not to profit form it–for an $800, or 10%, profit within 2 hours….Jewwwww yahhhhh

Same thing we do every day Pinky…try to profit from pumped up Penny Stocks…just gotta wake early and reserve shares to short, then wait for tell tale signs of fading. Easiest thing in the world if you understand THE VARIABLES.

GBRC is going straight up, no resistance for a while, let’ hope it keeps going to give us some worthy downside

QCOR is still on watch for a breakout, soooo many damn sellers everywhere though, it looks tough but not impossible. Watch $6.83ish like a hawk

MFN is up a lot, nearing resistance, is this out of steam now?

COINW is a prime PennyStocking example, can’t find shares to short though

VRML is an oldie but a goodie, I’ve always banked shorting this one on spikes, good luck finding shares though, god, I hate illiquidity!

DSL is a financial trying tobreakout, not my kind of play, but it’s on my radar

MNKD is also trying to breakout, bitter shareholders everywhere though so longs be warned

SYMX is just looking perfect, up to $5 off low of $2ish, great downtrending chart, would love to get a short off soon, but I’ll wait for signs of reversal…gotta conserve my precious capital

FOUR is a case of “you can’t keep a good fraud down”…now doubled off its lows, hope they put out some more hype, good luck finding shares to short LOL.

SIL is my #1 potential short, now up 350% off its lows just 2 days ago, 12 mil shares traded…let it skyrocket to $5 for all I care, I’ll be looking to short when the momo fades.

MKTY as I wrote yesterday didn’t stay down as I expected. Like VLNC, I was wrong about a big drop, both were just little ones. It happens. It’ll happen time and again. The key is trading scared and taking gains/losses quickly when the price action doesn’t go EXACTLY the way you want it to. Think I’m happy with my $450 in profits? Hell no—I care more about my TIMalert subscribers making bank. Oh well, good risk-reward trade, now it’s dead to me until it really surges.

SIL- shorted at 4.15--- this was so obvious---the chart doesn't lie.... that's one thing I learned from you TIM---look at the chart--the run up, the short charts, the patterns are the same------ I will hold for a while, add more if needed to- but I am up huge already.....
  • anyone can challenege me, tell him to go to covesotr, its pathetic, i'm still on the leaderboard
  • lm, be careful, lots of shorts and its still not red on the day, i'd love a late day squeeze as i've got 2k more shares ready to short
  • lmsmith
I agree-- it might squeeze later--but I am thinking not--I am short 1700 shares- will add a little more if it goes above my initial short
I know you like shorting when you see red- I like to see if I can call a top..
  • Reaper
Hey lmsmith, any reason we haven't seen you in GOTS chat recently? Hope all is well.
  • lmsmith
Reaper--I miss the chat a lot!!!!! I am devastated- I switched jobs 3 weeks ago-- they do not have Java script---so, I have to stick to the chat logs that they post each week on the blog..... but I do miss it all....
  • CT
Thanks for SIL Tim. $190 profit after com.
  • lmsmith
:) HAHA there goes red on SIL----
  • AP
DSL is on the restricted short list so you can only short it with PUTS. Also, I wouldn't trade it on a breakout because they own in a big way the worst mortgage bonds of this whole credit crisis (california alt-a and subprime from 2006 and 2007). Buying this stock on a breakout is like playing russian roulette the FDIC.

Dropping fast--- I still haven't covered
  • lmsmith
    Just covered 1700 at 3.04 --------
  • Nice cover Imsmith - great short again $3 probably base for now

DRYS a great trade as well
  • lmsmith
DRYS-- I never seen it this low--- a great buy I would take...
  • I traded it once this AM and now accumulated mid 44's - it moves with the Q's, the whole sector has been hit (obviously with the economy) but Monday and Tuesday's drop makes me like it for the bounce I'm currently playing should spike green if Q's find themselves at 41.20 range
  • SIL great trade both ways, easy borrows
  • lmsmith
I agree with you on that--- the stock does bounce nicely--- looking at the chart--and I do remember the action in Jan- hit a low around 48- then uptrended nicely 70-80bucks over the next two months-- I am in 100 shares @ 45.40-- with a tight stop---

    What are Q's?
  • QQQQ
  • I usually always have that up next to whatever I'm trading if its a Nasdaq etc, cheat sheet to what the market is doing but doesn't really help on penny stocks mostly the big boards
  • Stella Gomez
Tim, thanks for the tip on SIL! In at 3.54, covered at 3.28- $700+ in 30 minutes! Something funny going on with this stock...
  • AP
Thanks for the SIL trade Tim!
  • Nice trades on SIL Tim
  • lmsmith
Okay- I see, interesting---- the last time Q's traded around 41.00 was in march--
  • nice stella, congrats!

CTCC was one of the best shorts i've ever seen in my life. I have never shorted a stock but I sure can call them.
