what do you think about peterleeds.com
  • i met peter, good guy, no idea about his picks though
  • LOL, i love how people actually think i care about LEH or MEr or any other big stock, guess its gonna take a few years for my strategy to sink in
  • Nice site and market approach. An associate alerted me to your site as we have been shorting hype stocks based on his rule set and its been working great. I can see you have superior returns using an anti street strategy. The amount of farce and nonsense from the insider game and the devotion to fundamentals is wretched... Why tilt at windmills when you can just trade the direction of the wind instead.
  • getshorty
You do care Tim, Big developments can influence the overall market direction and as you mention in the first of your dvds, you got to keep an eye on the market, cause it is easier to short in a market that is going down.

In that sense, you think LEH can help crack some overdue penny stocks?
  • direhack
Timmay! Your book arrived today from Amazon; cannot wait to read it! Now question: Timmy (or anyone), do you think I can start with $2,000 or should I just go fuck myself with such a small amount of money?
  • Hey cool my website is on the list!! Oh wait, i had to pay for that ;)
  • total_keops
    direhack,
you need 2000 to short so get another 500 to have some room for the first trades.
You can start with 2000 and only go long but that limit you possibilities.
  • Muddy
    Be Aware of:

    http://darksidetrading.blogspot.com/

The best shortside trading blog out there.

    Oh wait,It's my blog.Sorry

    NOT.

I'm just as shamless as Tim!(if that's possible)

Profit taking Tuesday making me giddy!!

Most trades posted beforehand on the blog,and/or in the live chat(read the past logs, they are there)my COVESTOR
  • Reaper
Muddy, you are awesome, man ... those are some wicked awesome calls I've seen you make in chat. Enjoy spending some of that money.
  • wouldnt this be the ST7?
  • matty84
Reaper, I'm glad to see others using "wicked" as an adverb. It comes out of my mouth so naturally, but always to the horror of those around me who weren't so fortunate to grow up in a part of the country where that usage is socially acceptable.

And yes, Muddy's amazing, as is Tim, the two are my biggest teachers.
  • younggunz
Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have been trying to figure out what SS7 means for a long time. Can someone tell me?
  • sykes saturday seven
  • Zak
Just re-emphasizing my newest website... It's pretty much awesome - NYCFurnitureStore.com<
  • younggunz
Why you kill TimBucks without even offering anything. Atleast get Zach to make a sweet T shirt design or something for the active posters on the top list.
  • younggunz
Zak I mean, my bad...Shouldn't be too hard to make up a sick design to silk screen on some plain shirts. Think or Swim atleast gave me a monkey doll wearing their shirt. My boy loves it!
  • TIMbucks is gonna die, but the top 10 will get prizes
  • total_keops
Did anybody try the "The Technical Trader"? Any comment?
  • total_keops
So Zach, are you now able to trade?
  • johnnyvento
haha if you're not on Covestor, you must not be an actual profitable trader.
  • Zak
Will be able to trade soon hopefully!
  • Tim, thanks for the link but my site is down right now because I am 'on vacation' with my parents right now at their home, so there is really nothing on the site. I've still got much to read and to post so perhaps some other time would be a better time to link up. I intend to join your affiliates/link-swap program anyway. I think replacing my link with Muddy's would be 12 trillion times more helpful and beneficial since there's nothing on my website right now.

    http://darksidetrading.blogspot.com/
  • oh and http://darksidetrading.blogspot.com/ is more relevant since Muddy and Crew are posting short plays on there whereas I can't short for another two months until I set up my IB account.
  • DTG 25% short amazzzzzzzzing
  • oh and just to add evidence to the tentative fact that I'm the worst PennyStocking student: I went long LEH @ $7.80 yesterday, missed Pre-Market because I overslept so I didn't get another trade in when it was at $7.10, and bought more at $7.75 today. yep, I know what you're probably going to say: "stop gambling, if you want to gamble go to the casino, at least they give you free drinks"
  • oh yeah and I bought FNM during pre-market yesterday at $0.80, but I only bought 1000 shares and ended up getting spooked out at $0.90 because I am a vagina.
  • that's TWO reasons/trades not to link me to your site. not that it matters. but really, http://darksidetrading.blogspot.com/ actually has content up, useful content.
  • Ben are you trying to get in the top 10 timbucks? lol
  • hah, I was there at #10 until I stopped coming, didn't think reading Tim's posts were useful if I can't short anything for another two months.
  • 16 more posts to beat 'Brent'

oh no, LEH is tanking, down to $7.60 now!
  • ben, when u play LEH, you're not pennystocking, so you're not even a pennystocking student
  • good point, true, very true, I'll stop calling myself that then =)
