Manipulation Monday: 9 Stocks To Watch, Potential Breakouts, No Pump & Dumps, Sad Day

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Mon 28th of Jul, 2008 09:29:10 AM

Just a few breakouts and potential breakouts today, nothing really up enough to truly merit any great shorts, help the dumbasses trying to pump IDAE up, I could still breakout big

VisionChina Media Inc (VISN) Thanks to InvestorsLive for bringing this breakout to my attention, strong earnings are niiiice…of course I featured this and bought this as a breakout play just over 100 days ago, see blog post HERE. Yup, you really don’t have to sell story stock breakouts very quickly…learn from my mistakes and I’ll look for more breakouts

ABIOMED, Inc. (ABMD) oh wait, here’s one…they make a cool little heart pump—the size of a pencil tip—is breaking out hardcore at $20, last multi-month breakout, it went from $16 to $20, now who knows, $24,? $26? $30? I dunno, not my game, but as VISDN proves, could be very niiiice for those with a longer term outlook

IDAE keeps comin’ back, only 13 cents off its highs, breakout today?

ZYXI is one I featured in Friday’s watchlist and on LiveStockTIMalert subscribers knew about a possible breakout at 8am, so they were prepared for the morning breakout and I got several emails from people who bought…too disorganized on Friday afternoon—I hope you guys like LiveStock cuz it really screws up my trading/blogging—I wanna see some testimonials guys, solid breakout!

ATSI is one a few have been emailing about as to possibly buy on the breakdown of the breakout…nooooooo, look at a longer term chart, this one is meant to fail

DTLK is breaking out, but has a solid longterm downtrend, I don’t like it except maybe as a potential short soon

TGC you just gotta laught at, I screwed it up completely only profiting a bit, but many others who actually believed all the hype lots a ton of $…I’ll say it once again, buy the hype, but never ever believe it aka sell or go short when it fades…too late now

QUIK reported shitty earnings, but Google android talk is heating up the message boards, who knows, look to possibly short into continued spike, definitely reserves shares just in case

U.S. Shipping Partners L.P. (USS) is another longterm downtrender spiking nearly a double off its lows, reserve shares, just in case it decides to roll over today

  • Joker
Visa in play for the week guys. Earnings due Wednesday, business co-motion over the weekend.
  • ZYXI failure to gap up/spike makes me glad i was picky and didnt pull the buy trigger, what a piece of crap
  • younggunz
tim what you thinking about uss right now?
  • no resistance anytime soon on USS, i got meetings all afternoon, i hope it keeps going...tuesday breakdown would be ideal for my schedule :)
  • longshort28
I missed the bus for MNLU..down 87 cents could have easily made 200 dollars if f'ing scottrade had some stocks for me....they do not have in their f'ing inventory.
  • younggunz
ouch, I was looking at mnlu friday as a possible short today. oh well, it wasn't exactly predictable when you're not watching it like a hawk.
  • longshort28
same thing ...WSCI...Tim said on Wednesday when it was trading at $9..now more than 2 dollars down in 3 days....I have to improve my timing of buying and selling if I want to survive...
  • longshort28
SBUX, MOT, NT and GM are on my radar for shorting as their earnings are scheduled for this week...

    Any suggestions?
  • Joker
    longShort28,

Watch those plays, Tim would tell you not to short as those are real companies and earnings based, aka news manipulated!!!

Switch your game plan, read about 200-300 blogs.

    Why so serious?
  • manny the trader from cancun
guys oil going back to 70 u can bank with long on LCC
  • Careful with those ones longshort... expectations are horrible for those companies, and get big upside even with the slightest upside surprise/guidance
  • lmsmith
    LBAS- Finally- down
  • getshorty
Longshort Agree that stocks you are looking at are anything but predictable. On the other hand, if it makes you feel any better I woke up at 4:00 am (pacific time) to try and reserve 600 mnlu shares, that would have made me around $700 richer, but none available in TOS neither. Then I got back to sleep a couple of hours.

Imsmith, looks like a breakdown but 40 cents split looks like a total reap-off
  • Joker
ImSmith what broker are you using?
  • VISN, talk about a gap and trap!
  • mikeswords
    RNN is making a run
  • lmsmith
    TOS
  • Joker
I thought you couldn't trade on the OTC market anymore?
  • mikeswords
    ^^ shitty chart
  • younggunz
They tried that for a week and dropped it. must have been enough Timperts whinning about it to them :)~
  • Alex
bot VNDA 1.14 & 1.15 ... no more downside ...ha ha ha
  • Alex
I'll be tempting to scalp this but i think i might hold a few days

I asked you how to make 30k a month with a lame web site, and you censored my post.

Trading is for dweebs. I want the easy web bucks $

    Anyone watching EMIS?
  • JOEJOE
How has everyone faired using TOS for the shorting of OTC and Pink Sheet Stocks. I am thinking of opening an account and would like to know what percentage of trades get filled when trying to short these companies.

    Anyone/
    Thank you.
