10 Sketchy Stocks, Spammers & Scumbags, But Hey, They Are In Play!

First, I gotta apologize to anyone who went to that event last night to meet me–my laptop suffered a fatal crash so I am actually writing this from an internet cafe in a Burger King (I wish I was joking)…needless to say, I’m on the market for a newlaptop, any of you guys have any suggestions? So far I know not to get Sony or Dell as the office of the laptop guy who tried to fix mine, but only ended up backing it up, was filled with those…he recommended Fujitsu, sketchyyyyy. And no I’m not gonna get my first Apple, I’m not that cool…yet. Gonna be interesting how I try to do LiveStock this Friday on some random computer…might just be me in front a green screen!

To busines:

As you read in last night’s post, I screwed up my trade on MKTY, somehow only making $200ish on price action that coulda shoulda woulda been $1,000-$2,000 profits on my planned 1,500 share position. Good thing TIMalert subscribers more than made up for my mistake. Probable further downside, but I’m out of day trades for the next day or two and Burger King ain’t exactly an ideal trading location.

ZYXI I could care less about, once these things fall down, I hand em off to random price action lovers everywhere…

The good news is spammers like SLAT, FORC, MNLU are coming back strong, I’ll wait to buy only if they take out their previous highs, no easy task, especially for FORC…if they fail to breakout, which is likely, they’re all gonna be good shorts so reserve shares of all of em justy in case…every day

All around sketchy mofo JUHL is even coming back, probly a good buy if it can take out previous high at $5.40, but be careful/weary of a double top, scary stock with such a wide price spread…non-Burger King Friendly.

CHCG keeps moving higher, waaaay too slow for my tastes, I’m looking at 2 kids throwing pickles at the window and thos epickles are moving faster than this turd.

Recent breakouts CNEH and IDAE can’t seem to get any of their momo back–found a funny blog post from an IDAE supporter about me, obviously calls for a rebuttal…never underestimate how naive/dumb people are in this niche, basically a bunch of Forrest Gumps asking what their financial destiny is in life

LBAS will keep going, but like that pickly on the window, it’s too slow for me–and I say this cuz it’ll go up 10-20 cents/share every day, but then 1 day it’ll fall $2-$3/share in 1 hour….just not worth the risk for those of us with small accounts

hey tim do you chat on think or swim, what's your UN?
  • younggunz
    back from the computer store?
  • SoRichSoBored
    IBM/Lenovo

Most relaible computers ever. Period. Have had mine for 3 years, no problems. Wouldn't buy anything else, even tho they look outdated, they are still the best.
  • younggunz
SLAT and FORC have been pretty flat. MNLU there was a chance for a 30 cent scalp, same with IDAE if you had perfect timing. but so far no good plays from this mornings list.
  • Zoltran
    LSCC any opinion?
  • DarStov
Does anyone trade with TD AMERITRADE?? Do u like it?? I caled this morning and they said there is no lower limit on price u can short and u do not need to borrow ahead of time that they usually have enough to cover whatever u want to do. Does this sound right??

DO you guys think TOS is better than scottrade?
  • younggunz
I agree about the IBM/Lenovo. I have my t60 thinkpad from work any a HP for personal and the think one feels way more solid and well made. Some people are starting to get t61p thinkpads with the widescreen displays and they are very nice. You do pay more for the better quality but if you're truely going to be toting around a laptop everywhere you'll want a solid, spill proof, and hard drive head crash protection from drops.
  • younggunz
I really don't think the person you were talking to from td ameritrade realizes that you're planning to trade micro-crap penny stocks.
  • Bender24
    Darstov,

I also use TD Ameritrade. I tried shorting UAUA today (first attempt at shorting, yep a rookie when it comes to that) and the order was immediately cancelled. I emailed them, and they said it was because they didn't have any shares for borrowing. Maybe I'm in at the wrong time, who knows.
  • Zoltran
if you trade with a bigger firm would it be possible that you would not have to reserve shares?
  • cacaosteve
Tim, you should get your first Apple MacBook or MacBook Pro. You can run Vista or XP (through Boot Camp) on it if you need to, yet still look cool for having a Mac. The displays on the MacBook Pro are LED backlit and look sweet. You can take it to the store whenever there is a problem and they fix it, just get Apple Care to extend the hardware warranty.

    Hey Tim

So sorry to hear about your laptop. Take a look at the Toshiba Qosmio--totally awesome machine. It's got a super light touch on the keyboard, awesome sound system, TV hookups, preloaded software, etc. I bought mine 4 yrs ago after my Imac g-5 self-destructed in the middle of a huge trade. I also bought a Sony Vaio as a backup, but almost never use it. The Qosimo is my dream machine. Hope you will like it too. And watch out for flying pickles!
  • Hey why was this post locked this morning??

Out of CHCG with a nice profit. It moved slow but not too slow; a play like that a week will do me just fine...
  • timothysykes
bare with me guys, just getting all my files transferred to this new laptop, post locked accidentally since i did it from a burger king computer lol...watch out for my next post, its contest time!
  • DarStov
youngGunz, Ya I told him I was goin to trade penny stocks. Thats how I know there is not a lower limit on price. I am going to call the local office tomorrow instead of the national customer service line. Will let you know what they have to say. They may just not let us borrow ahead of time to make sure we have them if we need them.
  • DykeyMikey
Tim you are a SCHMUCK by a APPLE you SCHMUCK!!! You are such a DOUCHEBAG!!!
  • DykeyMikey
YOU LIAR MKTY NEVER WENT UP TO 5.40 ASSWIPE!!!!
  • thank u for being a typical uninformed hater, u guys cant even look at historical prices...or look at covestor which verifies all my trades, goddamn its fun to wipe away you illiterate scumbags, seriously please never learn to read, its just too easy
  • YngvaiMalmsteve
Hey, DykeyMikey, you're right. It didn't go to 5.40...it actually went to 5.50 bwahahahaha

    Check the charts
  • laughingcrow
    What about STSI, CVM, ANDS?
Also, HBIO looks like it's on a breakout play.
  • A
Breakout play on HBIO???? That is just random ass price action. You gotta wait for predictable setups if you want to survive to trade another day.

And dude, why the hell would you trade a stock like ANDS...a stock which traded 13K shares yesterday. Liquidity man, liquidity!
