I know, I know, I’m behind on several planned blog posts, but when I see comments like the one below, I just can’t help but respond:

After I saw that, I asked a few others if they thought I was making up people and testimonials to “sell my wares” and they said YES?!?!?!? Are you guys f$%^&en kidding me?!?!?!?!? Here I was thinking I make a solid dent in cutting through all the BS out there, showing my trades real-time, detailing my trades afterwards, detailing the ideal setups, ripping on all those who deserve to be ripped on…and now I discover some people actually believe it’s all just one big marketing scheme.

To them, I say, f$%& you! You go straight to hell!

For all my work, for all my effort, this industry is soooooooooo much more corrupt and has hurt/abused/f%$^& ed over soooooooo many more people than I ever imagined, it’s gonna take me years–if not decades–to get people to understand that I will not be tempted by petty cash to lie, cheat and steal and that for all my personal failings–of which there are many–dishonesty is not one of them.

Between blogging, trading, researching, LiveStocking, designing new websites, planning a college tour,, guys, I barely sleep–how the f$%& do I have time to carry on fake conversations/create fake testimonials?!?!?! God knows I’m too cheap…and honest…to pay anyone to do it.

Let me set the record straight-and I dare anyone to try to prove otherwise–SEC f$^&*tards or anyone else–I WILL NEVER CREATE OR USE FAKE TESTIMONIALS TO PROMOTE MY PRODUCTS…this isn’t Elitetrader (haha losers)…I will however mention my products more than anyone in the history of mankind has ever before me, products like PennyStocking the DVD package, An American Hedge Fund the book and TIMalerts the real-time trading alert service because they are quality products–as evidenced by REAL testimonials from peeps that I’ve never met/talked to like Mike the Machinist, grad student Tony Ellis and 21-year-old Davey and soooooooo many more (get ready, we soon will have PennyStocking parties and we’ll s ee EXACTLY how real/unreal everyone is)–which I can easily say trump 99% of the sh$% this joke of an industry puts out each year.

And while it hardly matters what I, or anyone else, think about other products/gurus, it does matter that 90%+ of traders lose $ so whoever’s been teaching trading/ guru-ing all these years is a big fat failure from pawning such shitty advice.

Jrobitaille, you’re either a stock promoter, snakeoil salesman who realizes that my model of full transparency (look HERE bitch!) is gonna put an end to your scummy ways, a bitter trader whose tired of losing (give up or learn HERE motherf%$#er), part of the failing Trader Monthly crew or anyone else in this industry that I have unintentionally offended during the months which I’ve brought brutal honesty, for better or worse, to this domain.

So you few thousand of DVD/book buyers, successful traders–hell, even non-successful traders who are at least willing to learn–and daily blog readers/commenters unite and leave a comment below to show this prick what we’re really made of!

(and feel free to chime in with your thoughts as the beauty of my biz model is that it really is all about brutal honesty and debate as any one of us can be wrong, drawing the wrong conclusions–myself included–and when you are, be prepared to battle against those who think differently)

I haven't seen a *shred* of evidence that anything is made up on your site, Tim. Everything I've seen from you is completely straightforward and no B.S. And anyone who knows me well knows I'm a very honest, no B.S. guy myself so I would never hang around the site of someone who I thought was full of it.

What I do care about is this: I just started trading this spring. My first 'investment' was COIN. Instantly, I became a bagholder and was scratching my head, not quite understanding what happened. Then I stumbled on Tim. Between his posts and the recommended books, I have a clearer view of what's going on. And I don't lose to so called 'investments' or pump and dumps.

After a few months of watching Tim call the plays, I'm convinced. Soon as my bonus clears, I'm purchasing the alerts, and when I climb out of my COIN-hole, the DVD is mine. Then I'll be the next 'fake' testimonial.

Personally, I don't care if you are making them up or not, as long as the good picks keep flowing . . . although I seriously doubt you have the time to do that. As you pointed out in your post . . . you've got a lot going on and I know for a fact you respond to emails promptly. . . every one I've sent you, you have responded and that alone is probably a monumental task.

Guys that was me who wrote the post to hopefully give a little encouragement to some of the guys with smaller accounts here. Tony Ellis and Mike were great, but most of us don't have 50-100K accounts to work with.

I'm not trying to BS anyone, I'm just saying that right now I'm making about 3K a month with a few trades a week, that is more than some 9-5 workers and damn sure more than peeps my age. I just respect Tim and his strategy and that is why I've become an intern for Tim, to help with the college tour, maybe write some guest posts, and to take some extra work off his plate so he can spend more time making us better traders.

I don't want to be a 24-7 trader so I'm helping Tim hopefully grow this biz so eventually we can have cool shit to watch, fun stuff to read online and in print, and basically have a spot to enjoy finance.

As if Tim needs to create fake aliases to hype his DVD--- it's not rocket science. I watched Wall Street Warriors on Hulu, google'd his name, made $265 on a papermoney TOS account on his IDAE prediction, and then ordered his DVDs and a month of alerts. The proof is in the pudding.

Anyone who sees his track record will probably feel inclined to get his DVDs, so there's no need for him to be scammy. Remember he's out to trade scammy stocks, not become another scammy figurehead. Sure he mentions them in his posts, but hell, so would I if I made a product that helps educate the 90% of stock market losers out there.

Since watching Tims show , reading the blogs and as of last Friday Tims Alerts I've already made over $300. Which has more than paid for the TimAlerts, my next purchase will be the DVD package. I for one know I'm a real person and I can say that I have invested for a while before I discovered Tim. I would have bought Tim's book if I had just run into it on the shelf browsing a book store. I found it interesting and informative. I bought the dvd's and have at least made back my money and I haven't tried real hard. I would say that Tim has been right on with his alerts, AND THEN YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR OWN BRAIN. I'm with you Tim.

The reason that the majority of people automatically think these products are a scam is quite simply because over the years people have been scammed time and time again by others claiming to have "that magic stuff" that will make you money...

I am going to be honest, I was skeptical at first... I've been burned.

Just made $539 on SPRD today, post commission and related fees, which leaves me up a little over 121% on what I invested just TWO and a half months ago (account now at $16,600) and most of my gains came in the last three weeks since I found this blog and started learning the ways of Tim Sykes. Since I started reading this blog -- trading strategies, etc. -- and signing up for TIMalerts (which has netted me thousands in a few days, I have made a total of over $7,700 in just three measly weeks using under $9,000. I'm currently short FHN, which closed red for the first time in DAYS, and I've been riding that thing up and down for about a week straight, collecting cash like an IRS agent. Most financial stocks gave up a lot of their gains today and the bloodletting will continue tomorrow. I know this is true for FHN, based on the chart pattern I've been watching and riding for a week now, and I learned to read it from reading this blog.

I believe the proof is in the pudding, and I've eaten platefuls from Tim.

Wow, I really didn't mean to offend and if I am wrong then my apologies. I guess I see so much b.s. whether it is articles that lambaste a stock written by a guy who is short that stock, or reading how CEO's jump ship and leave shareholders out to dry with worthless stocks. I am a new trader just finding my way and came across your site. Not a writer..a bitter trader...YET...and not a hater. At least not if you are for real. I take it you are otherwise you wouldn't have been so upset. My bad.
For the record my portfolio consists of:

50 shares of WRES
100 shares of MGI
92 shares of JOEZ.

I opened my ripoff 12.99 per trade E Trade account and since then I have made cash on RTK, lost on BRLC, panicked on TGC, and have the above presently. I am even steven so far.

I have some cash on the sidelines and am always looking for small caps which is what I like about your site. As you can see, I am neither claiming I am a great trader or have secrets to share. Two of my trades are down (earnings reports coming up should change that) and one is going well.

I get your system and like it. It's easy to see how these scams are perpetrated on honest traders and you advocate turning it into a positive. Hell...if it's going to happen anyway, why not smack these frauds down and make some money?

I don't short because honestly, I don't have enough money to do so. Once I do I would see how it would be good to get TimAlers. As far as you pimping your wares...well...sorry to offend, you are trying to make a living and to each his own. Good trading Tim.

you need to think about what you write before you accuse someone that he is a liar without having a proof to back it up, even more so when you use the recommendations here and at the same time try to ruin a business of a hard working guy. the fact that you are not losing on your positions does not mean that Tim is lying. if you are a new trader in this kind of market and not loosing, i think that says a lot about this great website. i am new here and following the recommendations on the sideline so far but i like what i see. Tim, keep up the good work and get some sleep. you deserve it.

Tim, I have pictures of myself and your DVD/Book if you want to use them as proof that you're not hyping your own products. I thought your DVD was very helpful and I also enjoyed what you said in your book, especially concerning buying penny stocks on the way up. I am currently trading piece of shit sub-penny stocks based on the techniques I learned from your book. Those who doubt that I am really who I am can click on my name to see my Covestor account. I am also an active user on InvestorsHub.com and most people recognize that I am a prick there too. I don't think Tim has the time nor the incentive to create fake accounts and fake Covestor accounts just to pump his products. Plus, he probably makes much more through this website's advertising.

I am not Tim, I am a grateful user who is finally making consistent profits thanks to the continuous learning that I can get both from his methods as well as from other bloggers here and of lectures recommended here ( I am halfway through Technical analysis using multiple.... and I think I have found the definitive technical guide)

Anyway, what part of look the trades done through the blogs, the countless correct calls proven to be made before the moves is to hard to get?

A couple of years ago I was sitting on my previous work lunch room and a fat ass said about one not-present-at-that-moment co-worker "The bank says he is an olympian, he didn't even get a silver medal, come on, that's just a guy that showed up" Right away, a girl there said "What's that smell?" and I replied "envy".

People that do not have the balls, horsepower, brains or any of those to achieve anything, comfort themselves by trying down guys who succeed.

this is what I know...

first and most important, the only reason I've become interested in trading stocks is because of Tim. I've been following him since back in Nov'07.

Before I purchased his book I wrote him an email... basically to challenge his integrity. He wrote back right away; won me over after a few convo's (and like Bob and I'm sure several others, I'm a cynic too... I trust no one and like very few), and I bought his book. His book was well... Second, when Tim did a post about interns, I offered my services up for free... I did this out of respect for Tim. The only catch was I wanted to learn. I'm very busy as well; I run a successful business, I'm a father (at 30), I play baseball, I workout, and I read every single blog post he writes. I frequent several other blogs (because of Tim), read several books (because of Tim) and I will be successful at trading stocks... (partially because of Tim... I have to give myself some credit for DD). =D

So if Tim is a fake, then I'm a fool... and so is everyone else on this site... but, I'm not a fool and neither is anyone one else on this site. So take your head out of your ass and think about your accusations realistically...

The dude bares his soul in his book, he puts together a DVD that I find "entertaining" as well as educational, and he responds to every email I send him.

My only complaint is that I think his teaching style is geared more for intermediate/advanced traders than greenhorns like myself... however, eventually I'll be able to speak the language, and eventually I'll be in the trenches with all the braves individuals out on this site and abroad and I know Tim will still be around, kickin ass and takin names and answering my questions.

And for the record, I don't know Tim; never met the dude.

If u are who u say u are, a new trader, here's a little caveat. Don't short too early into runups. That's the quickest way to get burned in this. Tim goes over it in his DVD. People usually seem to start off by shorting too quick & getting squeezed. Usually only do it once or twice, its a lesson quickly learned.

I am not Tim. I am an Irish Catholic average Joe from SE Minnesota. I trade in my spare time. Looking to get a little more active now that I am signed up with Tim Alerts since I don't have time to do a lot of research. I work 45-50 hours a week doing integrated circuit layout design. I have a 1-1/2 year old and another on the way. All I am trying to get out of Tim's site is some entertainment trading and hopefully average $100 a week, which would basically match what I am able to save in my long term savings accounts.
