Save $100 With The TIMalerts + PennyStocking Combo Deal, Already Converting Haters Into Believers…

Posted by timothysykes on Tue 15th of Jul, 2008 07:03:47 PM

That’s right, with the launch of the brand new TIMstore, comes the unleashing of perhaps the greatest deal this century: enjoy savings of $100 when you purchase the critically-acclaimed PennyStocking DVD Package (see thorough review HERE) (regularly $297) together along with a one year subscription to my TIMalerts service (regularly $297), which feature premarket watchlists, real-time trading alerts sent directly to your email (text message coming soon) and access to the subscribers-only TIMalerts.com website!

Buy the amazing combo deal HERE (scroll down a bit)

Gotta tell you about the first buyer of this special package deal cuz at first, he was afraid, he was petrified. Kept thinking he would never trade with me by his side. But he spent so many nights thinking how I’ve profited, he tried TIMalerts and he profited…read on for the details:

In late March 2008, a value investor/blogger named Michael Goode wrote a blog post entitled “Timothy Sykes is full of bullship“. Needless to say, I disagreed with his assumption-making, fact-lacking argument and we went back and forth on each other’s blogs

…Flash forward to July 2nd when I got an order for this combo deal with this unedited email:

Tim,

I just paid for a DVD and year-long subscription to your alerts. While I still find you to be annoying, I am an empiricist and I have to admit your strategy works (plus, Tracy Coenen likes you …). So far I am up $3k after less than 2 weeks of your alerts, with an average profit of 5.18%.

Anyway, I wanted to request that you write me some sort of personalized note in the book you send … whatever you feel like saying to me. Call me a wussy value investor if you want.

Also, I’ll be sure to review your DVD on my website when I get a chance.

Regards,
Michael Goode

I don’t know how he’s done since, but considering my picks on ERII, IDAE and now on MNLU today have all been winners, I’m guessing he’s done even better. Anyway, I’m glad that for the $30 cost of one month of TIMalerts, he made over $3,000 in 2 weeks!

Yes, for you number freaks, that’s 100x his investment in 2 weeks. I wonder why we don’t have daily testimonials like this for other trading DVDs and financial products? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

More important than his dollar gains, this guy was one of my greatest haters/non-believers…so if I can convert him to purchase my most premium package, methinks I can convert anyone!

PS I truly can’t wait for this Michael to review my dvd, publicly on his blog I hope, good or bad, I really am curious to hear what ore people think of it cuz the fact that there’s still only been 2 returns makes e pretty damn proud.

wouldn't that be 10x his investment, not 100x???

anyway, Tim i hope you can get to $25k soon. gl
  • John
I'm not a member of timalerts yet, but you recommended MNLU today? Was it exclusively to subscribers? Was it a long posistion or short? BTW I wanna read the testimonials for the IDAE picks that you mentioned on your twitter diary yesterday.
  • getshorty
Hey Tim, how about an annual deal for your loyal followers who like me bought the dvd some time ago?
  • uhhh $30 x 10 is $300, $30 x 100 is $3,000. don't trade til u learn math, trading without math is dangerous

yes MNLU was an afternoon buy alert for TIMalert subscribers only...IDAE and MNLU trade summaries, along with testimonials, will be posted tomorrow, too much writing to do!

as I've been emailing DVD customers who've asked, theres a deal for $250 instead of $297 for 1 year of TIMalerts...paypal me or contact me for more info
  • Brent
Tim, you remind me of Howard Roark of the book Fountainhead. (That's a compliment if you havent read it.) He takes on the industry takes on the world and wins.
  • marketGirl
    tim
    don
  • brent i know the character very well, thank u so much! i'll never stop working to change things for the better, while profiting, its fun to piss the industry idiots off

marketgirl, piss me off all u want, its just fuel to the fire baby! just wait til u see the actual comercials we're workin on--my marketing is wild, it doesnt matter, the key is getting the product in peoples hand cuz theyre quality products
  • After watching Jim Cramers Mad Money...he mentioned boone pickens wind plan that is unleashing this week that I have seen many times on tv. Cramer said BUY BUY BUY on wind stocks....well i found a good one for all of us. The ticker is WNEA Wind Energy America. Its priced at 1.15.
I hope my buying power updates for tomorrow.....any thought on this wind play???
  • also look at the chart on HGLC....nice one huh
  • GT4NE1
Anybody know when TOS is going to provide data for IDMC?
  • Tim is right--the $3k was after one month of TimAlerts, without reading his book or watching his DVDs, which makes it a 100x return on investment.

Tim, I would not have called myself a hater ... disbeliever would be more correct. I still disagree with some things you say and do (and I will point those out when I review your book/DVD on my blog). I do admit that after watching your trades for a few months that you do have talent and your system seems to work. I finished the book and DVD and will review them on my blog when I get a chance. The short review--your book was good (similar to but better than Darvas' book and worse than Lefevre's book) while your DVDs were mediocre at best (in terms of value; I thought there was a lot of filler when your main points could be stated in 10 minutes).

Anyway, I believe that truth is more important than being right, and I am not ashamed to say that some of my criticisms of you were not valid.
  • Oswald2001
    Michael Goode,

I would think that $3,000 in one month speaks the loudest and most accurately in terms of a review of Tim's methods.

    It does to me, anyway.
  • Oswald - apparently so, but as someone with advanced study in statistics, I believe that the sample size is too small. I'll be sure to post a follow-up in half a year when I have made many more trades.

Tim and family, go get'em guys.

The link (in this post) to buy the combo isn't working. It redirects to paypal but with only a click here to retry.

Your image/form submission on TimAlerts is working just fine.

Holler if you want a suggestion on how to fix it. But my assumption is you'll get Pallian right on it.
  • PCola
Tim, I love the idea behind Covestor, but I don't know if they're quite ready for prime time. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed, in my opinion. I really like that they have the little coment section on each page that says "What can we do to make this page better", but I think they are going to get sick of me and my suggestions quickly. If they are truly commited to getting the site perfect, I would suggest that you all give them your thoughts on things they could fix. They've been very quick to get back to me on each of my comments, and are at least willing to consider new ideas.

I've mentioned eveyrthing from the fact that they spelled "Pennsylvania" wrong in their "location" drop down box, to the fact that it's a problem to only show prices out to 2 decimal places for subpenny stocks (they disagreed with my assertion, saying that other finance sites only show to two places. I know Yahoo shows to 4 when needed, but I was disappointed by the "everyone else takes the easy way out, so it's okay if we do too" attitude that he had, but I may be over-reading into his reply), to the fact that the "price" column on your "prior holdings" tab is sometimes the purchase price and sometimes your sell price, so it's basically meaningless without showing both the purchase and sale price in seperate columns. I also think they need to make it easier to figure out where they get the numbers they show on each persons fact sheet. For example, given Tim's 4 trades shown in July, try to figure out how they calculated his total return for the month of 24.1%. It's just far too complicated, IMO.

Hope they don't take offense, but I see a lot of potential in this, but if peopel don't see value in it, they won't sign up or will sign up but then stop using it.
  • Michael is tough but fair. That's why I had him post his review of my book on Amazon. It wasn't all sunshine, but it was an honest critique of the book, and I appreciated it. Plus, I looked at his review as an opportunity for readers to get a better idea of whether or not my book was really for them. I don't want people buying my book and then being disappointed that it's too basic for them. So Tim, I'm pretty sure Michael will be fair with you too, and I think him sending his results and acknowledging the part your information played was a really cool thing to do!

Tim sogotrade account is not letting me to trade more than 3 times in a week(my account balance is 2800).The are asking me to deposit 25k if i want to trade howmany times i want.(i get in and out several times in day ....and i am up 26% in just 6 days...i am planing to open Thinkorswim account now ...Can you please tell us whether Thinkorswim can let us trade howmany times ever we want as you are very familiar with That firm..........and just to let you know i am your big fan ...i watched you on You Tube first time ....you just boosted me up.....thanks TIM ....dont forget to reply ..i will be waiting for your answer..
  • joefoolz
kondai if you daytrade you have to have a balance of 25k or more...
  • PCola
Oh, just to clarify my post about Covestor, the reason I said they are not ready for prime time is that I have yet to make a losing trade since I started my Covestor account, but they show me with like a -13% return. They need to get stuff like that working. I just opened it a week or two ago so I'll give them some time before I get annoyed about it, it's just that the whole site seems to be confusing as far as the numbers go and you have no idea where they're coming from.
  • yah kondal, its not any brokers fault that u cant trade as much as u should be allowed to...its the absurd industry regulations...thinkorswim used to allow a few more, now they dont...just gotta work your ass off like i'm doing
  • lakhanin
    LMAO Michael Goode!

As someone with advanced study in statistics, surely you realize you didn't make a 100x return on your investment. This would only be the case if that $30 principal grew to $3000. This is hardly the case.
  • CABeachBum
Tim, even though I think you're an arrogant bastard (which is why I keep coming back to your blog to read all your entertaining and informative posts), I just signed up for your Tim Alerts. Gotta hand it to you...you converted a complete skeptic. What's next? Should I buy your DVD? Ok, one thing at a time. Make some good picks and I'll throw some more money your way. ha!
  • CABeachBum
Anyone have any thoughts about NXST?
  • Jake
Just to make this straight--- you can't do more than 3 trades a *week* if your portfolio is under $25k? Or a day. If it's a limit on the week, that is really crappy.

I'm in the process of moving funds from my old broker to thinkorswim and I'm playing with TOS' PaperMoney in the meantime.

    LEVP

    Check it out
  • PCola
lakhanin, what is so hard for you to understand about this? He paid $30 for a one month TimAlerts subscription, and made $3,000 because of it. Yes his actual trading return is certainly far less, but no one is arguing that he's making 1000% with his trading, just that he made 100x more from Tim's Alert than he spent for it.
  • vo
LEVP is up due to being acquired.
  • lakhanin - good point; of course that is not a true 'investing' return. However, considering I have a good chunk of my brokerage in cash and the money I made as a result of that $30 investment replaced negligible interest I otherwise would have made, yeah I did make 100x my investment.
  • Fantom
  • PCola
Wow, never heard of VioPharma, but their HQ is about 2 seconds away from my house. Seems like that one may be worth looking into more given the drop yesterday on the news.
  • joefoolz
Tim I just ordered your book through this site.. Can't wait to get my hands on it!!
  • wow, i've seen some stupid comments here before, but fantom your shit about LEVP getting taken over and being a pump, tops them all...acquisitions make those stocks irrelevant guys
  • kondal reddy
Thanks friends(Tim,The Chad and Jake).I stopped trading as freaking Sogo didn't let me trade more than 3 times in a week ....i can not profit from just 3....and i can't deposit 25k........so I dont know what i am gonna do..God must be knowing it ....

Anyway friends, thanks for reply specially Tim.
    Have a wonderful investing life.....bye,takecare
  • Jake
Interestingly enough, I phoned up my old eTrade broker and she has never heard of this "3 trades per week" deal. She even talked to her supervisor and he had never heard of it either. Maybe in Canada there is no such rule? That would be great.
  • codyhof
95% sure it doesnt apply in Canada, i make plenty of trades and have never been flagged
  • $3000 - $30 = $2970 / 30 = 99 : Michael Goode experienced a profit of 99 times his initial investment or a 9,900% return to be perfectly absurd about ... Tim, you better start including the disclaimer; "results not typical; individual results may vary" ...

BTW: can you and your short freaks stop dicking around with FNM and FRE - don't know how ya'll are getting around the SEC on shorting the golden 19 but it's happening and costing me money - knock it off
  • that 3k in a few weeks is now $40k in a few months, see his blog post here:
