Happy Birthday Mom! The Celebration Is A PennyStocking DVD Package Giveaway To My Twitter Followers Only
Posted by timothysykes on Mon 14th of Jul, 2008 12:06:51 PMScrew Bastille Day, people around the world are really celebrating my mom’s birthday today! Happy birthday mom! And, I want all you readers to leave a comment on this post and wish her a happy birthday too!

While she’s lived in small towns across Connecticut all her life, her love, guidance and work ethic helped create this guy who’s determined to flip this joke of an industry on its ugly BS spewing head by helping to teach the 90% of traders who lose and 70% of mutual fund investors who underperform the market each year to distrust/despise/lynch these marketers/frauds/gurus/cokeheads/fee-earning-scumbags/embarrassment-to-this-once-great-industry who disgrace us with their existence.
To celebrate, I’ll be giving away one free copy of my $297 PennyStocking Package to one of my Twitter followers (see my profile HERE).
I don’t know if anyone’s done contests with their Twitter followers before so I gotta think this thing out to make sure everything goes smoothly…probly gonna go from this Thursday to next Thursday, so for now, to enter, just become one of my Twitter followers (become one HERE).
, get used to Twitter (you’ll thank me one day) and cool Twitter applications like StockTwits. Hell, even my mom is on twitter (she just signed up), you can follow her HERE, maybe even direct message her a happy birthday!
Now you can Twitter any questions/comments to TIMhelp and obviously you can follow TIM on twitter too!

happy birthday, Mrs. Sykes.
Finally Out of MYEC, have been short for around month and a half, shorted at 3.67, closed today at 2.14 for a $ 600 gain, all the way down tried to short more, every day, I mean every day but was never able to get any.
Part of the game I guess, (sigh)
Shorted some more gigm since it couldn;t hold to it early gains and is back in the red. No rush to close this one, would hold as long as it doesn’t go over 14.
Let go gigm… let go…. it’s ok to go down… nobody really expected you to be up there for much longer….. come down and have some deserved rest….
No !!!! I am not talking to you IDAE, you better keep running or I’ll beat the crap out of you !!!!
Sorry, I am such un unpolite ass.
Happy Birthday MRS SYKES !!!
Thanks for making tim work so hard !!!
Went long TMR @ 3.20…3.30 is 52 wk high
Long here as well on TMR @ 3.19. Nice Chart.
Looks good Tony, I am in with 600 at 3.21, great chart.
i’m with TonyE. in at 3.16
IDAE making all 52 week high. Tim needed to get back to his business of finding optimal shorts, but other than him, anybody else still on board?
Happy B-day Mrs. Sykes!
Without TimAlerts, I made $10.04 on IDAE across two accounts (just got out of 2nd account @ $2.54).
With TimAlerts I would have been up $500.
Needless to say I immediately signed up for TimAlerts. Do I have to wait for an activation email?
Tim,
I have been following you for a while on twitter but don’t log into it very much and don’t really know how to use it all that great. Anyways I noticed your last post on twitter refering to accounts that pay atleast 3% interest.
Go to bankrate.com and you can search for online savings accounts with the best interest rates. Personally I have mine in HSBC. They have 3.5% over the summer then it will readjust depending on the fed rate. The fed is more likely to raise then lower rates so I don’t see them getting any lower then 3.5 after the promotion.
E-trade also has a online savings account you can move out of your money market. Right now etrade’s complete savings account is at 3.3% APY and is a savings account not a money market or CD.
Tim here’s a little heat on us. Ha!
http://www.cnbc.com/id/1584023.....amp;play=1
Whoops didn’t click in my head you are avoiding etrade because of fear of having ot get money back from fdic. Try HSBC they don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. 3.5% APY through the summer and only room to go higher with the fed wanting to get rates back up.
Fantom, that note is on real short sellers, like the ones bringing down Bear Sterns and wiping billions of dollars of capitalization, not about some kids playing video games with penny stocks. Don’t worry about it.
I got me some of the TMR 3.20 too
Interesting clip Fantom. These guys just want someone to blame for the insane of amount money they’ve been losing lately. Seems like any Joe-Jerkoff with a tie and a coke addiction can get on CNBC today to spout off their latest market theories.
oh i know where i can see the highest rates, but every bank is in questionable shape to survive, especially those offering the highest rates!
TMR too slow for me, just sent out TIMalert explaining
who cares what anyone thinks about short selling, as long as they dont prohibit it
IDAE on the move again HOD
Figures, I get out and it jumps. I beat Tim for the worst possible timing award.
Ahhhhhh, look at Tim and his Mom…she must be proud (can’t imagine you can say athat about too many mothers of Wall Streeters).
A couple slow breakouts I noticed today…CRIS and ALTH…nothing too exciting, could be multi-day plays, though
