See Tim's full bio HERE. Tim turned a few thousand dollars into a few million by taking small gains time after time on hundreds of volatile penny stocks, discovering that his trading strategy, while consistently successful, works best for those with smaller accounts.
Determined to teach others this PennyStocking trading strategy (learn more HERE), he went back to his original $12,415 roots (already $58,000+ even though the stock market has crashed) to show everyone how to turn thousands into millions, even while having a life (somewhat) and making plenty of mistakes. Currently he is the #1 ranked trader out of 25,000+ on Covestor)
Hard work, Determination and Know How.
Hard work to learn how the greatly misunderstood niche of penny stocks provides opportunities every now and then on which you should pounce.
Determination to seek those probable profits out and know how in order to actually profit from them.
Long story short, wait for stocks that are extremely volatile - for whatever reason - and then aim to take small profits (between 10 and 50% within a few hours, days or weeks) here and there, either from betting on higher or lower prices (yes, you can make $ betting on lower prices, it's called Shortstocking (learn more HERE).
As Tim explains in several ALL-NEW instructional DVDs (see them HERE) and in over 2000+ blog posts, penny stocks are the most hyped and corrupt niche in the entire investment world. These two qualities make them the easiest to profit from (legally) because the vast majority of people who play penny stocks are suckers and all-around ignorant people. If you have any intelligence whatsoever, you have a clear advantage and it's like playing basketball against mental midgets.
This is the #1 FAQ (see more HERE) and it is answered in THIS instructional DVD.
Of course, that's just a brief introduction - to receive a full education, there is Tim's book An American Hedge Fund which is the story of his remarkable rise and lessons learned.
To truly increase your odds at profit, Tim has designed an entire set of detailed instructional DVDs, covering all the variables that amount to over 24 hours of instruction (see them all HERE)!
This video player you have is very stubborn and slow. I suggest putting them on youtube and embedding them here.

It did 3K shares at 4.80. Total pre-market volume was 161K. 158K of these shares were at 3.53 and under.
6 more pages of trades I didn’t paste that went through after 9:28. Last pre-market trade was at 3.35.
Those trades above were for DTPI. Let’s tell the whole story to keep things fair. Let’s also keep a lid on those egos my friends.
We buy and sell stocks we don’t make movies or win Superbowls.
LOL
In other news:
IMB announced BK in AH’s. Trading at like 7 pennies down 75%.

Any way to fast-forward a livestock stream if you are watching it post-broadcast? I just wanted to skip the “back in a moment” part, then I hit a button and it started over and wanted to get back to where I was.
Or is it just rebroadcasting over and over and I’m just stupid?
mike, i said that pattern isnt for me, i’ve seen a million earnings plays, all have different patterns–in my experienced, u’d be right about 5 or 6 times out of 10, no wayy in hell am i ever gonna advocate that pattern…i can only teach what has worked for me and teach people to ignore what hasnt.
u have your own style and thats fine, thats why i want u writing for PennyStocking.com to bring some diversity
yak if u go to the on demand button, u can rewind and fast forward
Come on Mike, don’t be a girl, you know people respect your track record here, quitting because of a comment, I know you are bigger than that.
Yak, click “on demand”‘ then choose today’s episode and you can move it however you want.
Everybody, enjoy the weekend, money is nothing if you don’t enjoy your life.
Tim, before you take off for suhi with some hot blonde, are you holding idae over the weekend?
haha how do u now about me and my blonde :)
yes i am holding IDAE, i’ll write a post tomorrow about it
Goingin60 is a DOUCHE BAG!
Got it figured out, thanks.
I went back to Tim’s June trades and did a “Where are they now?” to check the ideal return you could have gotten given Tim’s entry price, if you would have held on longer (sometimes a month longer). I know this doesn’t follow Tim’s strategy but I thought it was fun to see what happened to these stocks afterward. For the most part they continued much further in the direction Tim played them, with HYHY being the only really dangerous one, a long play that turned sour -45%.
Stock — Ideal return after Tim’s exit
CNEH — 23%
URRE — 45%
PINN — 19%
HYHY — 16%
TGC — 120%
STXX — 65%
PTEK — 40%
GRO — 50%
NTI — 31%
Given Tim’s entry price, you could have gotten a 15% return from all 9, or even better a 30% return from 6 out of 9.
thanks yak, i’ll make a blog post out of that table! and here’s today’s linkfest:

Tim, didn’t think to comment on this during LiveStock, but I think Apple iTunes gift cards as an option for TIM Bucks would be a great idea.
Mike- I really hope you continue to post here. While I’m a fan of Tim for having introduced me to this style of trading, I am also a fan of your trading and have learned a lot from both of you.
In the famous words of someone- Can’t we all just get along?
Oh, and regarding TIM Bucks…
Sorry, no content, I just wanted to break 200..
Have a great weekend!
I’ve said before that Tim disrespected Mike_13th, and this is just another example. If he is frustrated enough to state that he will no longer post here, then that means something. I’ve said over and over that Tim is talented but he needs to decide whether this site is going to be about his method only or is going to be a repository for great traders of other sorts. If this site is only about Tim’s methods, then why does he feature articles about Mike_13th who uses the Muddy method? This is completely disingenuous to say the least. How many people on this site are in his chat room now after finding him here? To those people, I say you got lucky, because everyone else following you will not know of him or his methods, because they are not the same as Tim’s. If you find both Tim’s and Mike_13th’s methods valuable, then you agree with me. But to Tim, if you are not using his method, then he feels free to insult you. He’s insulted me several times in Mike_13th’s chatroom, which confounds me because of course that chatroom does not belong to him nor is he in there day after day making great calls like I have. I’m not Mike_13th and I’m not Tim but I do believe that I have made a contribution to the trading chatroom that I am in- many people have made money off of my calls. To be insulted by Tim is frustrating, but when I see that Mike_13th is also dismissed by Tim it really indicates that something deeper is going on.
Look at how Tim shreds hucksters — if you get anything less than a total shredding, that is a sign that Tim loves you.
johnny, tim is not out to insult. he is just sharing with people what he’s know from EXPERIENCE and he’s brutally honest. the fact that you take tim’s refreshing honesty as such an “insult” to yourself probably speaks more about your insecurities than it does about tim. we’re all here ultimately for the same goal. the petty resentments aide no one else but your own ego. there really isn’t a need for all this recess chatter. tim is sharing what he’s learned, mike is sharing what he’s learned, you’re sharing what you’ve learned…that’s all it boils down to. lets all take a few steps back because this is becoming a mountain out of a molehill. everyone brings something to the table. and if someone’s just being honest with their opinion, why would you take that as insulting?
