12 Hot Stocks For Tuesday, Interesting Plays Galore

Yesterday afternoon is a prime example of why I hate leaving in the middle of the trading day…as I left for a FOX interview yesterday at 2PM, I alerted TIMalert subscribers to some potential breakouts in TGC, BQI, SSN…while those did breakout a bit, they weren’t the true breakout superstars that PDO and ROYL were…you gotta buy those breakouts, especially ROYL since it had positive news too…I don’t know about PDO all the way up here now, and ROYL might be just one big spike and that’s it, but I prefer buying the breakouts and selling into the panicking shorts/latecomers buyers, but as you know, I suck at buying so who cares what I do.

Lesson here is life usually gets in the way of trading, deal with it.

GSI time for a super spike like it had last October (which was a great shorting opportunity)? Reserve shares just in case…buy if you have balls

SINO, on watch for bigtime breakdown at $10….you know if it cracks stop losses are gonna get taken out, I’D RESERVE SHARES TO SHORT THIS THING IF AND WHEN IT CRACKS, could be an easy $1 of downside

NYNY big development news this morning means I’m not gonna short it, maybe even buy it

QMNM launched the career of new bigtime stock picker on my site, “UFgemini” who first started posting about it on Sunday night HERE and then kept trying to tell people HERE and HERE all before it jumped 400% on huuuuuuuuuge volume later the day…good job man, wish I was around to have gotten in the fun…no the stock isn’t a short, waaaay too low priced

LBAS avoiding buying this one proves I’m smarter than I look…finally did a mini-afternoon tank, coulda been $2-$3 for all the manipulation in involved, big tankage could still be on the way, or it could just be a disappointing HYHY dip and bounce….reserve shares to short just in case

URRE definitely reserve shares in this one day spiker, bitter long-term shareholders galore, resistance at $4…hopefully we get up there

HYHY very disappointing dip….so far….sometimes these things take days and weeks to unravel…or it could just be a fakeout…either way reserve shares

HYGS one of those junkie alternative energy plays I profiled generally HERE…chart’s gone vertical, meaning you def. gotta reserve shares to short as the reversal could start any day, reserve each day just in case it’s the first red day

SATC another junkie, couldn’t even finish up yesterday…I’m not gonna short it as its waaay too gradual, but might be good for someone with patience

    Question for yah Timmay. When your trading account gets bigger at what level do you generally start moving money out of it? You said yourself there is a cap to what you can really invest in these microcraps. So at some point you'll have a lot of money always sitting since you usually only ever play 1-2 stocks at a time. Do you have a point like 100-250k where you start moving extras into "longterm" savings accounts?

  • younggunz, depends on your goals/discipline/market...when i made $700k in 3 months in 2000, i didnt take out a dime cuz i used every dollar each day cuz there were so many plays

    SINO breakdown is pathetic, stop losses werent there, could/should be a gradual fader, not sure about a big drop though

    Tim no way, not yet! Ive read your book and it was an easy, fun read. Your numbers are just staggering to me. Ive become a better trader because of your strategy, with my best month having me up 65% on a small rookie account of about 17K. My latest successful trade was LBAS. I know it was risky and not your type of play, but I rode the momentum, watched it like a hawk, and dumped it before it fell off the cliff yesterday. You're a great teacher!

    damn, pretty much broke even on SINO. I shoulda been patient and waited. I haven't had the best luck catching a dump before its halfway done so I stepped in quick on this one hoping for the stop losses.

    Hi Tim, Wonder what level are you looking for hygs to break down?, 1.1 or 1?

    Shorted 400 shares of SINO at 9.9, waiting for the gradual fade since stop orders were not there, worst case got stop order buys, gotta ride to work now. They are going to be long 20 minutes..... then meeting.

    I know i'm late reporting this... just got off work.
    Bought pdo yesterday afterhours @37.5, sold half this morning @41.15 and the other half @41.89, at exactly 9:30:00 according to my trade log! Must have been a ton of buyers because I set to sell them all at limit price=41.05! $258 profit. I showed everyone at work my trade confirmation on my phone!
