Sounds like there is some inconsistencies between which agent you get when you call them up. Are you guys sending in the short request and getting rejected then calling or are you doing your trades by phone?
Thats lame. Looks like they’ll be losing a nice group of customers. Too bad we aren’t a bigger group to make them care.

Nice little option with IB, if you are 21 and under you only need at least 3K. I’m 21 and at about 9800 so I’m good if we’re jumping ship.

Good luck sniper with HBAN shorting, but that thing does not yet show the sign of fading, it looks more like consolidating to me. Fading was the chart of FPP, if you had shorted.
yeh keith, looking to cover today @ 6.00, but not worried about holding thru weekend, this is a FUF (fucked-up-financial), next week will test $5 easily IMO

Take a look at POL chart, it could not hold $8, tried second time, could not reach, and thereby more likely will go back to $7, great shorting opportunity!
Well, I don’t have $10K so I can’t move to IB. Looks like it’s going to be mostly long positions for me for a while.
However, one thing I DO like about TOS is you can usually do more than 4 day trades every 5 days. I don’t know how their day-trade buying calculation works for flagged accounts, but I’ve found I can do more than 4 in the rolling 5 days. Hell, I did 3 today and my DTBP is back at its maximum. So I’m sticking with TOS for now because it lets me exit trades quickly without completely ruining my buying power.
well i’m f’ed then for a while. I don’t have 10k to move yet. I am over 21 too. Any other brokers someone can recommend that short OTC stocks? I actually haven’t even paid attention to how many stocks that I trade that are even OTC.
Shorted 600 fpp at 6.34 covered at 6.05, not much but it was a profitable breakfast
