Sounds like there is some inconsistencies between which agent you get when you call them up. Are you guys sending in the short request and getting rejected then calling or are you doing your trades by phone?

Good luck sniper with HBAN shorting, but that thing does not yet show the sign of fading, it looks more like consolidating to me. Fading was the chart of FPP, if you had shorted.

Take a look at POL chart, it could not hold $8, tried second time, could not reach, and thereby more likely will go back to $7, great shorting opportunity!

Well, I don't have $10K so I can't move to IB. Looks like it's going to be mostly long positions for me for a while.

However, one thing I DO like about TOS is you can usually do more than 4 day trades every 5 days. I don't know how their day-trade buying calculation works for flagged accounts, but I've found I can do more than 4 in the rolling 5 days. Hell, I did 3 today and my DTBP is back at its maximum. So I'm sticking with TOS for now because it lets me exit trades quickly without completely ruining my buying power.

well i'm f'ed then for a while. I don't have 10k to move yet. I am over 21 too. Any other brokers someone can recommend that short OTC stocks? I actually haven't even paid attention to how many stocks that I trade that are even OTC.

Speed Trader has 2k minimum margin and advertises trading on BB and pink sheets. I don't know if they limit that to just buying or shorting as well.

What a day! even though I have no intentions on covering my short on HBAN today from 6.08- I watch the stock surge- "ouch" so the only good thing I did was double on my position and shorted additional shares @ 6.81--- risky-- but I washed out that would have been ugly loss...... anyways holding until next week......

Not that I know of. I just know that I made 3 today, but my daytrade buying power is back at my total account size. Usually it doesn't reset like that but it did today. Maybe because I didn't make many day trades earlier in the week.

But I do know that I've done more than 4 in a rolling 5 day period, as long as the trades don't exceed my buying power (the software won't let you exceed it anyway).

I wasn't in NYNY. Didn't have a good day today, total account down 6% from yesterday (but still up 13% from June 10). Two bad trades. PDO...got out quick for a small loss but shouldn't have entered in the first place...not a favorable chart pattern. Second was HYHY...jumped in before the breakout, got out quick for a loss. I reentered HYHY when it broke $2.66, but it didn't hold the breakout and I got out again for a loss. Overall $200 loss, account now to $3200 from $3400. Still up from $2800 on June 10th. Really, it should've only been a $100 loss because the third HYHY trade was the only good entry I should've made based on the charts (even though the breakout failed).

I should've gotten in SDTH...Superman pick. I'm always checking for his picks in the morning but because I was caught up in watching HYHY I missed it this morning.
