12ish Stocks To Watch…C’mon Live Trade During LiveStock Today!
Posted by timothysykes on Fri 20th of Jun, 2008 09:18:55 AMNotice how in yesterday’s pre-market watchlist, I said aim small, miss small? Well, that’s exactly what I did with HYHY, the big dump I wanted wasn’t there, so I got out and played it safe. New conservatism for me, I like the way it feels…all tingly. People emailing me saying its failing to break its days high, who f$#@en cares!?!?! You guys really gotta think in terms of big green on the day= big success, likely big momentum tomorrow, little green on the day=little success…little red=failure, momentum stopped cold, big drop possible tomorrow…big red=too late to short unless its really stretched….gotta make u understand hype drives prices up fast, panic drives price down faster, everything in between isn’t as predictable…I went for a big panic, didn’t get it, so I got out…now advantage shifts back to longs….uhhhhh I feel like I’m taking crazy pills
SSN Ha, I was looking to buy these things on the breakouts—shows you what I know about buying stocks, seriously, “buyer beware” here…unfortunately, I was all wrapped up in HYHY to play this and just about every other oil/gas play taking the morning dump HYHY failed to do…good pattern, just chose the wrong stocks…it happens. Magic Mike made over $7,000 on this one in 1 day, going both long and short, now his account has gone from $50k to $350k in 5 months!?!?!?!?!, no joke…interview coming….Tony Ellis has work to do….makes a PennyStocking teacher proud…I only taught him Short Selling though
KKD WTF?!?!?! KKD is coming back…no way, my eyes must be glazing over..hehe…next thing you know the other horribly mismanaged brand JMBA will be coming back—hell no, see the difference in the charts…rising on decent earnings, THIS ANALyst doesn’t like it, but who cares, he’s a goddamn ANALyst he’s got the credibility of a Bear CEO on CNBC. Market ignores dumbasses and goes higher. Respect earnings squeezes, I’d buy before I’d short here…not that I will likely do either, just watchin’
CADM finished red, albeit slightly…definitely reserve shares, if it can take out $1.68-$1.70, it can go to $1.50…I hate trying to squeeze a short into such close quarters, but it is a possible angle…same slightly red day on MCKE and weirdo company BESN
ARTE Sad to say but this one fell through my web of potential shorts, too little sleep, too much traffic, too many emails, too many excuses more like it…good news is soon I’ll have helpers so these mistakes will be minimized….even though I did update TIMalert subscribers just after 2pm around $1.65, so I’ve got that going for me…just a perfect perfect chart to short, fell back right down after resistance in the low $2, already made a big move, risk-reward isn’t great here…uh what a tragedy I missed this, pathetic…magic Mike also hit this
LBAS people with balls made another 20 cents/share…let’s hear it, who’s long!
QBIK sooo much selling pressure everywhere, blehhhh, probly not gonna be a buy unless it proves it can spike, aka cut through determined sellers/shorts
PDO too an even bigger afternoon dump of $7…glad I mentioned that in the same afternoon TIMalert as a potential short, even if I couldn’t find any shares…could any of you? Probly, I gotta open up more accounts…now it’s a double top along with other wannabe breakouts, but now proven…at least temporarily…fakeouts ROYL, FPP and TGC…TGC still looking the best out of them, but not my kind of stuff, I like frauds not commodities! GTE is another one that tanked hard quickly—all the result of beautiful stop losses from naïve investors…god damn I wish I’d brought my Short Selling surf board on that one…just laziness on my part
PINN actually almost shorted this before the close as it ‘twas the only oil play to hold its gains…probable fader, but methinks there’s a reasonable shot at a morning squeeze since it did still finish green…I might exit my trades too quickly (picked TGC for TIMalert subscribers at $1.69, went up to $2.09…I sold out at $1.78 like a little babbbby), but I know I don’t want to be early these spikers, especially non pump and dumps…reserve shares just in case
PESI subcontractor news/message board hype pushed this up…definitely reserve shares though as I hope there’s a big spike we can short into, just gotta be careful cuz they always go further than you think possible…aka wait for fading volume and maybe even some red going into the close…sure will be interesting with LiveStock from 1-2PM later today!
ENT was sooooooo close to breaking out and then it just got smacked around like an abused housewife. This is the very definition of a double top, and domestic investor violence…solid base in the low $4s if it cracks that it goes to $3…that’d be tough, oil would have to drop hella lot…not gonna try to predict that…better setup would be next time, if any, it tries to breach $5.08-$5.10…99 times outta 100 you buy that breakout cuz shorts would be screwed/squeezed to $6s
