UPDATE: First it was Flickr’s founder resigning from YHOO, now its Delicious’ founder too! Damnnnn!

As hard as I try to stick specifically to Penny Stocks, pump and dumps, frauds and blatant stock manipulation–as that arena is my specialty–stuff always gets in the way. The past few weeks, its been the commodity plays, and only one word can describe how I’ve played them: blehhhhhhh.

Now something which I know nor care little about got me to smile and what’s more, made my brain hurt a little bit from having to think. Like most of you, my daily routine doesn’t usually require much brainwork. So, check out THIS article and stretch your brain a bit. Its rusty. It could use a workout. Oh yeah and once you get the gist of it, I think you’ll agree it really does describe Yahooooooooo pretty darn well.

Tim,

It's over $350k from $50k in the last 5 months.

almost $7,000 SSN long
and over $1300 short.
And I don't play that big.

Today ARTE was good for me from 1.95 ( maybe sick of hearing this from me but I LOVE ones around the even marks,hit 1.99 and could not break 2 )to 1.41 eod and i'm holding over.

PGOG I could not get shares short at 2.70.I tried again and again,now sitting at 1.28.
IF I had gotten them I'd have surpassed 200% for the month already.
But tomorrows another day and I got my sniper out for a few good ones already.

I only mention this in the comments here 'cause Tim wants to show this can be done,and I know that you can.

Remember never to annualize a day, month or quarter.....cuz it can always get better or worse(usually worse). Percentages when starting are in stratosphere but once the base is built percentages decline due to liquidity unless you change your style. Been at this game since 1993 and it constantly changes.

I just had a nice long chat with a Rep over at TOS as I was trying to add shares to my already short position in HYHY........ He has said that this stock had been moved to OTC BB and can no longer be shorted. So I asked what the hell he meant and he just simply stated that If someone wanted to open a new short position today it was not allowed. I asked him, what about if you are already short and he said then you can keep those shares but not add to them. He said it went from the Nasdaq to OTC BB. He said I would have to figure out why. I am interested to see what this is all about today or if he knew what he was talking about.

Just tried to reserve shares of CADM thru Think or Swim and was told as of today you can no longer short OTCBB's. Anybody else here this.

Had to cover MEE and JRCC pre-market. Report about Israel doing training exercises to strike Iran spiking oil $4 a barrel.

Potential plays.

HBAN- up $.80 in pre-market to 6.03. Has short all over it. It's a bank and news isn't that great to have that spike.

MBI and ABK received credit downgrades yesterday in afterhours.

Short the airlines.

PESI- Could add to yesterdays run. Above the 3 mark and 20K volume pre-market.

BPHX highly oversold. News didn't warrant a 40% beating yesterday. Could get nice upward action today from $7.

Feeling a run in LDK on news they will attend a PJ conference mixed with rise in oil prices this solar is primed to jump.

Apple is worth a few points to the downside.

supertrader, thanks, i understand what you say about the base and liquidity issues.

I am trying to beat that by taking my profits that are over my living expenses and putting that whole amount into a mutual fund which I've been in for about 9 years and that has produced very high returns above the norm.
