I want to use this blog for good not evil so I gotta help a friend out who’s looking for a roommate…she’s one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met, not to mention one of the prettiest (she’s the one dressed in black in the pic below…I’d link her Facebook profile, but she might try to kill me, which wouldn’t be cool) and her place is downtown Manhattan. It’s a pretty pimp place, and all the details are below, but HERE’s her Craigslist ad to contact her. So if you need a place to live in NYC for a little over $2k/month (not a bad deal for your own bedroom and bathroom) starting August 1, definitely hit her up.

I pay less for my 3 bedroom house with 1/3 of an acre yard. For that much I could have a bigger house with a wooded 3 acre lot, 3-4 car garage. I am in SE Minnesota so things are nice and cheap compared to everything else... unfortunately that is including our wages.

Renting is a good choice if you're on a trip to a foreign country or to a greater distance and you hate driving all the way there. I believe (although prices are fluctuating) that you shouldn't need that much money to rent a car or masini de inchiriat but it really depends on what you want to drive. You can't rent a mercedes for 20 $ a day that's for sure but i don't get people who are renting a car for 6 months when they can buy it :))
