16 Stocks Breaking Out aka Gotta Learn To Go Long Too

There are always profit opportunities with low priced stocks, but the trading style you adopt, risks you take, capital and goals are all up to you. Now on a day like yesterday when there’s no decent short plays—meaning I’m pretty much outta the game—that doesn’t mean there aren’t some solid breakouts.
As I posted last night, I bought HYHY,
so primed to be the next KYUS, pump and dump, shake and bake!
TIMalert subscribers were also emailed at 8am that my fav pattern was a probable breakout on NANOVIRICIDES INC (NNVC). Sure it came true, but we’re talking 10-13 cents/share here…not bad $-wise if u had enough shares, but even if I sent out a followup alert seconds after I bought it (had my order in at $1.50, didn’t get executed), slippage would mean people would be up 5-7 cents/share…and that’s ideal…not exactly mind blowing. Kinda like SatCon Technology Corporation (SATC)’s failed followup to its picture perfect breakout.
Much better have been A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd. (APWR)’s breakout, think $4+/share in 2 days…or Oilsands Quest Inc. (BQI) now nearly $1/share breakout, although with some nasty drawdowns, and
LNG Mike caught this on his scrolling HOD list…long-term shorts scared of potential bottom, rightfully so
FPP I considered buying this beautiful breakout, along with PDO, but this one had a weird close
ELN is waaaay too pricey for tiny TIM, but it’s a solid long-term breakout
SPIR is one of the worst solar plays out there, reserve shares cuz it could be a good short today
GNLK is trying to breakout, but it’s awfully steep, if you wanna squeeze a short in there, I don’t suggest it, but it might be doable, reserve shares just in case
SINO was a nice bottom bouncer, but lots of bitter holders at higher prices mean this could be a good short reversal play, reserve shares early
KAZ is an earnings breakout, awfully fast for such a boring stock though…I’m not shorting anytime soon
CADM has now doubled recently, but it’s a new age surgery play, remember CRDC…all due to ISRG success, shorting is dangerous down here
EUGS is a sketchy oil play up a mere 9x in a few weeks…reserve shares to short just in case
ABAT another clean breakout play, too many, right?
BESN is one nobody knows anything about, but it’s environmentally friendly so it’s going up…c’mon CNEX-like pattern, c’mon big CNEX!
NOEC is such a sad agri play—like GRO and SEED—I hope it spikes even more so I can short the manure outta it…reserve shares just in case

Tim HYHY is available for a short today (obviously its still a buy after this morning dip, imo not anywhere near a short) - is it possible to put a higher limit GTC?, such as high $3.80+ and have that carry over day after day since they are borrowable today and probably won’t be another day? or is there a chance they’ll just cancel the GTC? Any experiance with that?

How do you know if a stock is available for short? I know it depends alot on your broker but besides that.
Also, Tim speaks alot of reserving shares to short. How do you reserve shares to short?

sold HYHY right near the open, profit of 6%, cuz i was scared everyone knows its a fraud–i probly shouldnt have been so hard on them, but even motley fool did an overnight article–
account now at $19,172, up 55% since inception, 8% on the month…gotta keep on aiming small, missing small, i’m like a friggin penny stock sniper!

Long EGY, been holding since $4.80. Notice I’m only listing my victories today, but been kicked in the nuts plenty of times. I notice my shittiest non-performing positions are producing today, weird, never woulda guessed. Makes me nervous.

any time NFLD goes up, even a penny, I know things are fucked. wacky market prediction, DJIA will test 12000 today.
If you have options trading. POT 230 PUTs expiring this Fri. Selling for 1.30. High risk high reward. I think POT closes at 225 by this FRI. These will be up 200-300%. AG’s have peaked. They are known to free fall before options expiration.

just made $300 on HYHY thanks to TIMalerts!!! when i first read tims blog on HYHY i put a order in for 2000 shares, having trust in Tim. The next morning i cancelled the order! i dont know why! so after debating to buy 2000 shares i steped up to the plate and bought 2000 shares at $2.36. becoming scared after seeing this fraud move i had the balls to stay and eventually sold at $2.50. This gave me a profit of about $290.. THANKS TIM AND HIS AWESOME TIMALERTS!!!!
BDCO being hyped as next FPP and PDO, up only 15 cents since hyping began, could be a runner, not my kind of play, but I bet Mike is in, rightttttt Mike?

Options are very high risk but those POT options I called earlier.
1.30 to 2.60 now. 100% gainer in less than an hour. Cashing out half. Makes up for my STSA which I sold today for a $.50 loss.

PINN at 2.93 is the best play in the market right now for risk vs reward .Nice and steady up she goes. This breaks 3.25 it will go bonkers.
LBAS— I had to buy in this a.m 7.77….. it’s been hitting new highs for the past 2 weeks…even if it’s only a .10 move, but this is .10 per day- and we know that adds up.. let’s see how high this pos will go before it eventually falls….

I read on the message board that the CEO and his son were part of Winners Internet Network…a scam company that was shut-down by the SEC.

whew made 5% on hyhy going long. Jumped on SURG short. my first offer got rejected at 3.30 and got in a little lower then I wanted to at $3.19. I am liking the vertical movement so I went for it.
Watching HYHY closely. hoping to see it squeeze or crack soon.

Technically if PINN takes $3 you should see a nice spike but before tankage in mid may the 1 month support line was 3.10-3.25 since begining of April. It could be anyone of those numbers. I just used 3.25 because it was on the high end which would confirm a break out.
Tim new idea for you. You need to have a video capture of your screen as you’re watching the charts and making your trades. I think it will give the best understanding of what you’re actually seeing when you make your moves. That way after you’re done you can show people what was happening at that very moment that made you pull the trigger on a trade. I think it will also translate better the tension in an actual trading situation.
Basically trying to figure out where you got in and when you got out by looking at the chart and reading your buy and sell prices I think there is a lot lost in translation that I don’t see. I think it also is what is missing from what people are interpreting from what you’re trying to teach and what is actually going on in your head.
If you can do a video capture of your trades it would be nice to at least get an animation of the chart’s movement and at what point you jumped in and when the chart did after and then when you got out. Something like how you can run a simulation on a GPS route and it simulates the trip you plotted on screen.
I was thinking that the 3.000 breakout would be long gone by 3.25
